Up early and ready for church. We enjoyed TSO so much last night. The predicted snow held off and didn’t have any problems with travel. No snow this morning so we are ready to move into the day. The blue sky is beckoning me to eat mindfully and move intentionally. Have a great day everyone.

I'm in. Good morning all dina, good to see you - send some of that warmth and sunshine up north! I was thinking about Neen yesterday while Indiana got trounced by Michigan. It's been awhile since she posted. Hope school is going well for her. A typical Sunday on tap here - laundry, meal-prep and football. Veggie omelets for dinner. Have a great day!

I'm awake. Good morning all. The "back trouble" thing must be contagious because my husband has it now. He went to put my big heavy roasting pan away---the usual storage spot for it is way back in a cabinet and things have to be moved to put it away. He decided that he could lift the other things out of the way while trying to wiggle the heavy pan into its spot and somehow wrenched his back doing so. Right now he looks a bit like a modified Quasimodo when he walks. Aleve and rest will help but I think this one is going to take time. It will be above freezing today and most of the snow should be gone. One more of my hens is now moulting and she is pretty miserable. Hopefully she will get the whole thing over quickly, not like one of her sisters who dragged her moult out over three months. Egg production is down to less than a dozen per week---my egg buyer is now officially out of luck, sadly. At least I have enough for ME! Wishing all a peaceful day.

Good morning all! We had a great Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Everything turned out well and DD and I split up the leftovers so we each have enough for another meal. We're leaving town on Tuesday for the rest of the week and the turkey will be gone by then.
DH and I walked outside today in our neighborhood and the weather has warmed up a lot since the freeze last week. I hope the weather holds this week as we travel.
Have a good Sunday, friends! I'm watching Nascar and football. And, no cooking for awhile!

borntexan, the cold front has not come here yet; it is still in the mid-60s. Looks like we'll have some light rain and cooler temps later today. But, overall, the week ahead doesn't look too bad. We'll be in central Texas starting Tuesday and while it will be cool, it won't be really cold. That's good because DD and DGKs and I will be walking around outside a lot and I hope the weather behaves!

Long exciting day yesterday. I drove to Tallahassee with my girlfriends. Left at 9. Had our Bloody Mary stop, then went shopping and went to the game. We won an exciting game, then drive home. I got in at 11.
I've done 2 loads of laundry and walked with my BFF. Going to watch football the rest of the day

Walked Charlie and fed the ferals before heading to the gym for spin class. That was followed by a long, drawn out HOA meeting that accomplished nothing. Heading out now to meet DGF for the rist 1/2 of the early games. Guinness and buffalo wings will be involved (and have already been tracked). The special bar menu portion isn't very big so it's manageable.

The "back trouble" thing must be contagious because my husband has it now. I wish your DH a speedy recovery. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Everything turned out well and DD and I split up the leftovers so we each have enough for another meal. Glad your celebration meal went well. Long exciting day yesterday. Very nice. That was followed by a long, drawn out HOA meeting that accomplished nothing. Is there any other kind? Soooooooo glad I no longer live in an association.
I've been out to WW and shopping and am now back home. Air quality improved enough that I really didn't need to wear a face mask. Yay. I got a bit of walking in at the grocery store and then at Target. WW topic for the week is "Get Back On Track," recovering overeating. The recipe on the back of the topic card is for a pizza—serves 6 at 7 SmartPoints a slice; odd combination of topic and recipe. And how different from years past where NOT overeating was always a pre-Thanksgiving topic; instead we had mindful eating (put your fork down between bites; it's apparently okay to eat-park fork-repeat 10,000 times). The new WW truly seems to be pandering to people who have no self control and don't envision themselves learning any.

I forgot to mention: WW still has some products on sale 50% off. The protein bars are one of those products because although they have the new WW logo they still say Weight Watchers on the back of the package. I picke up 2 boxes of the new Snickerdoodle flavor for the price of one. Just tried one and I actually like it. The chocolate and the peanut butter were not hits with me.
