I have my husband's favorite cherry dessert made for tomorrow night.Everything is made with light ingredients are no sugar added fruit but it still tasted sweet to me when I licked the spoon. We will go to a buffet for lunch tomorrow but for him the dessert will probably be his dinner. It is an all you can eat buffet after all and he can eat a lot. I am also thankful for each and every one of my friends here. You all have been supportive through my trying times with my dog and expressed such sweet concern.I'm happy and thankful that although she is still on 1/2 Prednisone every other day she is back to her old self thank goodness. Thanks to everyone for your support.

borntexan , I'm sorry---I somehow missed the posts about your dog!! I don't know what happened but so glad she is back to her old self!!! Thanks.About 6-8 weeks ago(maybe longer)she was walking in the yard and suddenly let out a loud yelp.I heard her from in the house and DH was coming to the house in his pickup and heard her and we both went to see about her.She had somehow hurt herself and her back right leg was like it was paralyzed. She couldn't walk on the bottom pad part of her leg for quite awhile. We took her to one of the vets at our usual vet clinic and they x-rayed it and said it wasn't broken and said it could even be a stroke and said she needed a MRI which would cost $1200 to see what was wrong.I'm sorry but I have no kids and as much as I love my dog that wasn't happening so they sent us home with Prednisone and pain medication and we still didn't know what was wrong with her. We finally was able to get hold of her regular vet who is more or less the main vet in the clinic and he said it sounded like she slipped a disk in her back.He said they gave her the right medicine but no way would he recommend a MRI for it.He said it takes some dogs 8 weeks or more to get over it. Sure enough she is back to walking on all four legs, running and romping outside and in the house like her normal but rotten spoiled self but we have spoiled her rotten since she has been hurt.
