I am using Itrackbites to follow the points plus plan. I use the original plan points of 29 per day for weight loss. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what my maintenance points would be. Itrackbites uses the last version which is 26 points for weight loss and 32 for maintenance.

You can change your settings to maintenance and I believe the default is 32 points.ITB only allows 3 points for maintenance but if that's not enough you should be able to change it manually.

It is 6 additional points for maintenance tammypp . So start there (35) and adjust accordingly. Good luck! *Just wanted to clarify my answer as I am not familiar with iTB. On both versions of PP the maintenance was an additional 6 points. With the first version of PP, 29 the maintenance was 35. When they dropped it down to 26, maintenance became 32. If you did well at 29, by all means keep it there, the program was just lowered to include people who were having issues losing at the higher range. |

DebDoesWW The regular Points Plus app would have allowed for 6 extra PP but ITB is different.However you can change it manually.I noticed on SP it only gives 33 points for maintenance but on freestyle it gives 26.So for some reason ITB is different.I always manually changed it on ITB.

Ha borntexan I was just editing my post when you posted. Get outta my head woman. 🤣🤣🤣 It probably doesn’t account for the original version of PP at 29 and uses the version that had 26, which would account for the difference. I wasn’t sure if Tammy knew that 6 is what the maintenance points are (or anyone else who might be reading this) so that is why I explained. Like I said I am not familiar with iTB but I do know that the maintenance points of 6 were consistent throughout the PP years and that it probably can be adjusted to represent whatever version your are doing to reflect that. |

A lot of people don't realize you can manually adjust your points on ITB so that's why I added she could manually edit it through settings.I am not doing PP but even on SP when we used to get 30 SP I noticed it only gave a default of 33 points.It may all be changed in the upgrade.I will try to stay out of your head but you are correct in that it only gives the version with the 26 points but that can be manually changed through settings to 29 as well. |
