What are your plans for the weekend as December has arrived? * Had flu shots this morning - first time hubby and I have ever had them * May go to a concert this evening to hear Tatiana Primak Khoury play th piano with a string ensemble - depends on our mood by 7pm when her concert begins.
* Laundry and cleaning/decluttering will continue * Need to come up with a menu for Wednesday and clean again before then

Plan (hoping) to get to WW for December weigh in this morning. There's a winter storm moving in, but I think it'll be OK yet in a couple of hours. Because of the storm potential, volunteering is canceled for today - would likely have been OK for those in town, but several from group are from out of town. So...hope to get some decorations on the tree, plan for work week ahead, re-arrange a bit for a few more decorations.

I have re-committed to my plan this week. WI is Tuesday, plan on making it to WI every week in Dec. I think I have all my holiday decorations up, finally. Now for the rest of the shopping, baking, gift wrapping, etc. I will try my best to stay out of the goodies. I think that I can do it!!! Stormy here today also. The Nashville Xmas parade is this afternoon, hope they can work it around the weather.

I am going out to the beach Sunday afternoon for a few days, so hae a bit of getting ready for that to do today. We managed to get in our regular morning walk between rain showers this morning.
Need to plan my menu for the beach time and get a few things for the rest of the week. Some laundry to do. Seems like it all piles up until Sat/Sun. Since this isn't my food bank weekend, I will try to enjoy the days off.

I was planning to go to town this afternoon for Mass and some groceries but we got freezing rain this morning and the roads are icy. So I'm not going. I doubt I'll go tomorrow morning either, as it doesn't sound like it will get warm enough for any of this to melt. I don't do icy roads any more unless I'm caught away from home.
So I guess I have no plans for this weekend, other than catching up on my mail and doing necessary household things.

Finally got here to answer my own question. What a wonderful evening spent last night at the botanical gardens light with family including a 2 month old and his 1 1/2 yr old sister. It snowed a bit which made it beautiful. None of us had ever seen the light display before.
We have had a relaxing day today and I’ve been running errands. Tonight I will relax. Have a good evening everyone.
