I am at my high weight and working my way down. Felt a bit of discouragement on the scale this morning because not an ounce was gone after an OP day. Then, I thought about it and decided it was the high carb pasta dinner (probably) and that I should plan a lighter dinner of a smoothie or soup or salad instead of something heavy at night. I made overnight oats for breakfast and wanted a burrito for lunch so added up the points for everything and will choose a healthy lighter more liquid (maybe) meal for dinner tonight. I am glad I am not "hungry" and think that is because food choices have been Core/SF type foods.
I want to come up with a menu I can eat on Wednesday that is OP and healthy. I am going to look through old WW recipes and Core/SF recipes I collected in the past. I also want to make sure there is food for the diabetic in our group...so often the others don't take carbs into consideration when menu planning.
Hubby is in Beirut and I am reading and relaxing and will do dishes and such later.
BEVERLY: I remember making and decorating cakes and giving them all away when doing WW the first time...not easy but doable. Hope the cookies are good and don't tempt you!
PAM: Avoiding sugar is a good idea. That said, my daughter brought a HUGE Sam's Club container of tiny candy canes and looking at the calorie count decided that one a day or even three a day would be a nice treat if I decide to give up a point for three as a snack...if I can limit it to three
LYNN: We have a UPS type thin on our computer so that we have time to close down before losing internet abruptly. It is also a stabilizer. I used to HATE losing everything I had worked on when I forgot to save and lost electricity! Bet you are looking forward to retiring! Hooray for losing the weight and being over halfway to your goal!
CHERRY: Hope all is well in your corner of the world!

Hi all!
At work...it is balmy today...in the 50's. I have to run to the bank later.
Soup came out very good...brought some for lunch. I will make chicken cutlets this evening when I get home.
Nothing else to report...hugs to all!

Hello Beach friends,
Not a lot to report here, day is mixed weather wise. Just partly sunny & cooler.
We have to make a run to the trash dump & to the post office, maybe a stop a Dollar store. What an exciting day!!! LOL. DS & GS are coming to eat with me tonight. I have a beef roast in the crock pot & will make potatoes & a salad. nothing fancy. There are plenty of cookies if they want a desert. So far, I have been able to stay out of the cookies, for whatever reason, they have not tempted me, yet. Will probably be a whole different story once the chocolate chip ones get going.
Hope everyone is healthy & happy today.

My son came last night but had to leave today by 1:00 as he has a dinner that he has to go to at 5:00. He also needed to go home to take a shower, as I don't have hot water yet. The plumber called this morning and will be out some time this afternoon. He will be bringing a new water heater along in case this one is unfixable and he has to change it out.
So I am still puttering around the house taking care if necessary things. Tomorrow I have another clinical study appointment in Minot and I'm going to do my grocery shopping there since I didn't get into town either Sat. evening or yesterday morning.
