From a magazine article:
Winter Mood lifters, 4 - 6 (of 10)
4. LOL β Laughter reduces stress and overrides other emotions in the moment. (What kind of things make you laugh?)
5. Color your world β Wear a colorful scarf. Buy a pen with bright ink or a bright sticky note pad. Get throw pillows in vivid green or tangerine. (Any ideas for adding a spot of bright color to your life? What color would you choose?)
6. Change your routine β small changes can yield big rewards. Routines are often connected with the past, changing a routine with negative associations can break the link and open up space for new feelings. (Any routines that might be due for a change?)
And β whatβs up for you this weekend?

4. LOL β Laughter reduces stress and overrides other emotions in the moment. (What kind of things make you laugh?) My friends on Wednesday always put a smile on my face
5. Color your world β Wear a colorful scarf. Buy a pen with bright ink or a bright sticky note pad. Get throw pillows in vivid green or tangerine. (Any ideas for adding a spot of bright color to your life? What color would you choose?) I have noticed color can reflect my mood. I would choose red to elevate my mood or perhaps yellow...if I had yellow in my closet.
6. Change your routine β small changes can yield big rewards. Routines are often connected with the past, changing a routine with negative associations can break the link and open up space for new feelings. (Any routines that might be due for a change?) have to think about this oneAnd β whatβs up for you this weekend? need to shop for groceries and a present for a gift exchange.

4. laughter - I think it can vary for me. I have a lot of "dog friends" on facebook, so at the least, pictures of their dogs and puppies make me smile...also pictures and vidoes of their antics. In other cases, it can simply be something that strikes me as funny in the moment.
5. Color - I don't tend to wear colorful clothes - I'm a dark and neutral color kind of person. Maybe I need to change that! I like red & bright blues...I could add some colorful t-shirts to ease into wearing those with my current darker jackets and jeans.
6. Change routine - I don't think I have an routines that have negative associations. When I worked at a school that was across town (instead of 3 blocks away from home), I would take different routes to and/or from work, just for a change.
Weekend - getting ready to get groceries, a few other errands. Holiday preperation mixed in with regular stuff I'd usually do on weekends - so a pretty typical weekend here.

4. I laugh a lot, my former co-workers always said that I should be a stand-up comedian. It is something that I have thought about in the past for a talent show, etc. but I have never gotten my act together. LOL My grandson could always bring a smile to my face, of course, now that he is 13, he is growing up & his interests have changed.
5. I have always loved red & other bright colors. I wear them often. When I was younger & thought the brights made me look bigger, I stuck mostly with dark colors, now, I just don't care, so I wear them often.
6. Being retired, my routine is basically the same every day, I need to change it up.

4. Like Judy, different things make me laugh. When my daughters and I get together we do lots of laughing. I like a good joke too.
5. I like bright colors, reds, bright blues and aquas, even an occasional green. I love yellow, but not to wear. It doesn't go good with my complexion. I like it as a bright spot of color in my house.
6. I need to have a routine before I can change it. I need an exercise routine mostly.
I need to do some grocery shopping and pick up a few Christmas gifts. I also want to work on my basement to get it cleaned up a bit and organized.

We enjoy animated movies. We saw Ralph Wrecks the Internet on Thursday and laughed lots. I love sound of laughter.
Right now figuring how to add my splashes of red. Last night we helped at a party for a local school. The tees everyone wore were tourquise. Hard to add red, but at least I had my Santa hat. Today I have my red sweater on.
Have a great day ahead.

I have never been much of a laugh out loud person. There are many things that make me smile, especially some of the things you see on facebook.
I love bright colors. I wear colors on the blue side of red. Not very many oranges or yellows (unless buried in a lot of other colors. Right now there is a bright red poinseitta and an amarillys in my living room.
Today I am going out to spread some leaves on my garden and then friends and I are going to look at Christmas lights. Tomorrow is our Sunday School program, so I have been at church all morning working on that. Will let you know on Monday how that went. It always seems like chaos in practice but then it works out.
