Let's get started! We'll post:

Sorry to be MIA girls. We did have a full-on blizzard which lasted for 12 hours. At least four hours of it were full-on white out and we had snow thunder and even lightning! It was dramatic to have lightning flashing but behind all snow blowing - that made it like a full illumination of everything. Dramatic and kind of scary. We got about 17-19 inches and had drifting halfway up to my hips.
I did a good job, though, helping DH get us dug out. I also went in back and shovelled a path for the oil delivery man. Fortunately work was closed yesterday and again today.
Daily Affirmation - I really have gotten stronger!
Fitness Report - shoveling out, physical therapy and Kundalini yoga for spine.
Health Goal - get blood draw to test my new med levels and attend PT later.
Gratitude - storm is behind us.

Good morning. Pat, thanks for getting us up and running here today, and I am so relieved you are ok. I was concerned maybe you were sick. And then there was the little matter of the snowstorm. That's alotta snow! I hope your back is okay with all the shoveling. I just caught a performance from musician Jesse Ruben and his tune "We Can". Very inspirational to me. m.youtube.com/watch?v=59Aj9E5lCn0Daily Affirmation: every obstacle I need to overcome, I can. Fitness Report: PT exercises Health Goal: eat for good health Gratitude: a quiet, appointment-free day at home Suzanne

Good Morning!
Well, not exactly a blizzard here in W NY, just about 4-5" near the lakeshore, 1-2" in the city, fell overnight. It's pretty and because it's only about 20°, the snow is fluffy and easy to shovel & brush away. But there are always folks out there who forget how to drive on winter roads. My commute was very tedious this a.m. due to accidents.
Daily Affirmation: My inner dancer is here
Fitness report: 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday. Tap dance class this a.m.
Health Goal: stay within daily point target
Gratitude: antilock brakes
Be well, be safe! Carol

Hoping it's clear enough to see the snow moon, lunar eclipse and maybe even a comet during our dinner cruise upon the Oddessy on Lake Michigan tonight. I had no idea these events were scheduled for this evening when I booked it, lucky me!
Just getting in gear hear after a really lazy morning working on my Linked In profile.
Pat, enjoy your snow day!
Let's hope all is well with Anetta and Michele, we haven't heard from them in some time now.

Lisa, I've been wondering about Anetta and Michelle, too. Your Lake Michigan cruise sounds fun, I hope you get to see all the celestial events.
Carol, let that inner dancer shimmy! And yes to anti-lock brakes - and front wheel drive. Those old rear wheel big cars loved to fishtail and get stuck on snowy hills.
Suzanne my back is surprisingly good after the shoveling! Thank you for that song, a much needed attitude boost. How is your PT going?
Our roads are very bad. I went out for a blood test and to pick up a few items at the grocery and that took three hours of white knuckling through six inches of slush, snow and ice. And the lab was closed. Oh well - it is New England, after all.

Carol: as I type, there is a big blob of snow heading for us and not far away. I don't think we'll see more than a couple inches, but it looks so ominous on the radar map.
Lisa: how lucky are you! Have fun! I'm afraid the forecast here isn't conducive to sky-watching. Rats!
Pat: PT is going well. I love the person I'm seeing and I'm anxious to start seeing results. She remains confident that she can treat this and it sounds like it won't be a long course of PT treatment. Apparently, it's very common.
Where are are all of our other angels? 🌸

Good Afternoon,
Affirmation: I am a strong powerful woman (and am wearing my Wonder Women tee and earrings today to prove it!) Goal: Get stuff done Gratitude: My lunch
I win hands down on the weather stuff this year and I hope you haven't heard anything about it from me. Just will say that the governmental agency FEMA came out to our tiny twin valleys and informed us that were were the hardest hit in the State. Also will skip the latest blah, blah, blah that is occurring about that.
Now for the good stuff, the desert knows! It is always the first to start the little bits of green grass etc. Just so heartening. The sun WILL shine again. Hooray!!!!!!!
Onward>>>>>>
