I will admit I haven't read everything, but where is the information that the Native American elder (vet) lied coming from? I've seen his statements and they seem credible. He (and another Native American) were trying to diffuse the situation between the kids and the Muslim mens' group.
Not to stereotype, but I'd believe the word of the Native American vet over the kid in a MAGA hat.

Peaceful Protests are certainly a right protected by freedom of speech, but this is a great lesson for all. Most protests these days, seem to get out of control, too many videos uploaded to social accounts, too many people on each side who like to incite trouble, the reason for a protest like right to life is way to controversial to even think that things will not get out of control quickly, adults leaving kids to themselves too long in situations like this or even allowing them to attend such protests in the first place. Plus, wearing a MAGA hat is a lightening rod in this climate. The Hebrew group shouting the profane obscenities is the worst of this story. But that is my point, there will always be those who do this at rallies. So, now the kids are criticized for their behavior, the vet now accused of lying & the Native American group is accused of using this video to their advantage, & the rest of the Hebrew Israelite world will be looked down on because others shouted obscenities. Its a no win situation for all concerned because a some in each group acted out & now it reflects on all in each group. Its an ugly world out there these days. In this case, everyone loses & the country is more divided than ever. Where in the world has COMMON SENSE gone. !!!

I have to say, tho, for some reason this kid Nick Sandman just kind of turns me off. I read his statement. My gut says he had a lot of help drafting that statement. JMHO. I did listen to the NA Vet & believed his account.

Sadly this incident just feeds the "fake news" mantra of DT's followers. It could not have been more perfect for it if it had been scripted.

In this case, everyone loses & the country is more divided than ever. Where in the world has COMMON SENSE gone. !!! I agree Linda. It's hard to know where the whole truth is, but everyone involved even tangentially is paying a price for it. The NA man does sound credible, and I tend to believe him. However, I think that there may be more to what the kid says in his written statement than we were originally being told by media jumping too quickly. Clearly the Black Hebrew Muslim men were in the wrong, but I don't see anything that excuses the youth group. As a parent, I would be very concerned if as the kid reports his counselor gave them permission to be loudly yelling spirit chants rather than getting them out and away from the situation. So if the BHM group instigated the confrontation with the kids, why were the kids then instigating against the NA group? I agree that it was no where the group of kids needed to be in the first place, and certainly not wearing MAGA hats. If they were there as a school group, then why weren't they wearing school uniforms (I am assuming in a Catholic school there would be uniforms) instead of MAGA. As Linda says, where was the common sense of any of them in any of the 3 groups? Teenagers aren't known for common sense, but their adult leaders should have had it. It seems to have all been trouble just waiting to happen, but from what I am seeing it seems that the NA gentleman should be given the least of the blame. He would have been better served to just walk away from a group of kids. If he was, as he says, trying to diffuse the situation it surely didn't work. Or maybe it did. Who knows? Maybe otherwise it would have been even worse.

Does that make me a conspiracy theorist? My point being that we have reached a point where it's almost impossible to distinguish the truth anymore.

I haven't seen anything saying the NA lied either, and I did think he sounded very believable when I heard him interviewed.

Does that make me a conspiracy theorist? Joyce, No! It makes you someone who doesn't believe everything she hears or sees. If you doubt or question certain happenings or events because you suspect they might have been planned by outside forces to persuade you to think or feel the way they want you to feel, or to distract you from something they don't want you to think about, and perhaps they are conspiring to trick you, why would that be a bad thing? As long as it's okay to mock or laugh at people who question certain things or label them conspiracy theorist, those in power will keep us dazed, confused, and not focused on REAL issues. I know that sounds like a conspiracy theorist, right? The shoe fits and I'm proudly wearing it! lol. I also thought this event was perfectly scripted. I thought the JHS kid who wrote the letter about the events of that day wrote as if he were a published author or a journalist for a popular magazine or newspaper. Not like a kid in JHS. I'm not buying it.

It's another day and nothing changes. Government workers still aren't getting paychecks. The JA is still pretending he's trying to negotiate. Democrats are still sending up bills that McConnell won't bring to the floor. Guiliani is still telling one story one day and another story the next. It's all becoming just a familiar routine. How sad is that?!

Sunday was the two year anniversary of Trump's inauguration - the halfway mark. Can anyone even fathom two more?

In the even after all this time they still manage to shock me category, did you see where yesterday Pence actually tried to compare the JA to Martin Luther King, Jr? (((shaking my head in utter disgust and amazement)))) Or that SHS tweeted yesterday that MLK "gave his life to right the wrong of racial inequality" Uh, hellooo

If I wanted to go crazy I would do it in Washington because it would not be noticed - Irwin S. Cobb
So, Rudy says, he's afraid it will say on his tombstone that he lied because of JA. Ahhh, kind of admitting now, that you are & have been lying...LOL
SHS got slapped down on Twitter for that tweet about MLK as well she should.

Interesting that Mueller is looking at the JA's campaign ties to the NRA, especially when you take into consideration about the self-acknowledged woman Russian spy also connected to the NRA during that time frame. In a perfect world where justice reigns, the JA and the NRA would all go tumbling down in one giant swoop. We're not likely to be that lucky, but nevertheless it's interesting.
