The Mind☯Body☯Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good morning all, welcome to the weekend. Sounds like a lot of weather going on for all of us. Michelle I'm sorry you're having such severe weather that FEMA paid a visit - not good news. Stay safe. You too Suzanne. It's good to hear you like your PT, that is half the battle. Keep up the good work! Hello to Lisa and Carol. Daily Affirmation - It's time for a new avatar. Fitness Report - a longer and stronger Kundalini practice. Health Goal - go to seafood store for some local flounder to have with asparagus and brown rice. Gratitude - a long, relaxing night's sleep with no wake ups from back pain.

Carol, You have excellent taste!
Affirmation: Life is great! Goal: Get stuff done Gratitude: My dog
Pat, Now that is some kind of food that interests me! Not too sure I get all the fascination with junk food I read on these boards and all the blahing about weight gain. Seriously, you'd think food was the enemy and the losing battle actually is a gaining one. I have to say this--it helps me to hear about VICTORY not defeat. Speaking of just that if I can stay OP then anybody can--not bragging just so incredibly tired of all the whining about not being able to control the intake of food. Just some plain speaking I think it's time to speak up about this. I am in control and am going to stay that way because I am a strong powerful woman!
Another OP day yesterday and today will be the same.
Onward>>>>>>

Hi girls, I just finished a nice upbeat walking workout with toning breaks for the core and then a short Pilates mat sequence and stretch to wrap up. We've been snowbound for a few days now and if I didn't get a seat on someone was gonna get hurt!
Carol, I didn't even bother with my meeting this morning. I'll make this coming week better.
Michelle I admire your determination. I do succumb to cravings, especially in winter, but fortunately I can get a grip. I proved that this past week by staying out of DH's trail mix and potato chips. With each day it got easier to avoid. Bought lots of fruit, and ate it as a substitute.

Pat, Thanks for sharing your story of trading down. I did that also for my afternoon snack. Just got back from walking the dogs, yoga to come. I am avoiding spending about an hour on something brought home from work. Time to tackle it! BTW, great new avatar.

Good Sunday Morning: Its becoming a Winter Wonderland this morning. We're heading into some difficult weather the next 24 hours. But, if one can stay off the roads (ice), all will be fine.
Carol: Love your "Inner Dancer"! I found mine, briefly, but 'she' went a little overboard (it was so much fun!) and I had some knee-problems (just a little arthritis). I'm ready to 'get down' again. I, too, am up for a dietary reboot. From March to August, I did so well finding foods that worked for me and was very successful (trimming down nearly 50 pounds). Now that IBS appears to be off the table, I can resume eating what I had to avoid for the past few months.
Lisa: You probably already get this, but just in case, some new PW 'thrillers' (link below). At this time of year, I love the inspiration; it helps me to think outside my box. www.provenwinners.com/learn/container-gardening/2017-features-new-thrillers?utm_campaign=January%2DWinners%2DCircle%2D2017&utm_medium=email&utm_source=emfluence
Pat: Very powerful avatar! I hope this next storm passes you by without incident. You, too, Carol!
Daily Affirmation: My body is extremely resilient.
Fitness Goal: functional fitness - shoveling snow and slush!...followed by some foam-rolling and gentle stretches.
Health Goal: to develop a healthy relationship with food that will serve me for the rest of my life.
Gratitude: for my healthy body.
Oh where, oh where has Anetta gone? Oh where, oh where can she be?

Good Morning, Dear Ones!
Pat - love the avatar! Feel the energy, whoosh!
Suzanne - Yay for resiliency!! And nice recovery plan after shoveling. We lucked out here in RaChaCha, freezing rain fell atop an inch of snow, so it turned into a coating of "corn snow" which brushed off my car this a.m., instead of the thick sheet of ice it could have been!
Daily Affirmation: I am finding ways to put my positive thoughts into action Fitness Goal: Fitbit daily steps=10,000 Health Goal: Mindful eating Gratitude: My Sweetie is feeling better today
Today and this week I'm continuing to work on being "gently honest" with myself. For me, the important point is to be realistic about what I CAN do, and then just do it, instead of complaining about what I CAN'T do or have NOT done. (<--Self, take note!)
Be well! Carol
