Kind of hits the nail on the head...
Bob - I agree with you about "smelling the coffee" and think it may be like our realizing a change needs to be made when we smell the coffee but the actual doing something - like opening the door and stepping through it (to WW or the gym or whatever) is more than smelling the coffee. Perhaps if we link the coffee smell to the activity we will have better success? In the past they said to carry a talisman though carrying a coffee mug all the time would be more difficult than wearing a ring on your finger

Our yoga teacher is always trying to get us to stop "should"ing on ourselves. We need to do more doing and doing what we can do
