WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C94D8, 22 points, 1 rollover, 7 water, K10-3
Table tennis this morning (Tuesday) then treadmill. then beginner's line dancing.
Today was better. My 4 planned mini meals plus an orange float (planned) plus a glass of milek with a WW mini caramel (planned) + 1 extra tsp olive oil, 2 kedem tea biscuits (1 pt) and 1 WW snack size fudgicle (1 pt.) β so 3 points were unplanned.
I was exhausted this evening for some reason, so I took a nap which is unheard of for me from 6:30-8:00 PM. I just hope I can still sleep tonight.
Cindy β Iβm delighted that you loved the soup. Will DH eat it too, or just you? How many portions did you end up with?
Jan β Iβm not ready for sweet free. I really look forward to that root beer or orange float every afternoon as well as my evening snack of either ff yogurt or a glass of milk with a mini caramel. As my K-closed time goes down, that evening snack will be eliminated. How did you do? Hopefully your day was sweet free?
Lori β Just read your post and realize I forgot to do the weights today. Bummer! Iβd like to make it a daily habit

Good morning. Yesterday was better, eating-wise, but not perfect. I was sweet-treat free, but did have quite a few kettke corn popcorn chips. Weβre eating out before wrestling tonight. I always order the same thing at this restaurant, so it will be a no brainer for me.
Post and run this morning. Glad itβs Wednesday!

Good Morning!
Proud of myself - did the 30min HIT strength training utube and it felt really good!
Nancy, Hope you were able to sleep last night. Good day yesterday!! Jan, I really like doing the dumbbell part of the workout - not so much the push ups...I'll look for more videos of dumbbell workouts so I have a variety..
Hi to Everyone!! Lori

Hi! Nancy, not sure how many portions the soup made, but I doubled the recipe. I put it in a big container & then just get it out of the frig. & dip out 1 cup full at a time and then microwave it. I do sprinkle a lot of pepper in it. Sounds like you gals are all doing great! DH said he does smell it , but it's not overwhelming. He's so nice! (g) DS's rowing machine he ordered today was delivered. He should be here anytime to pick it up. Wow, he'll really get a good workout on it. Nancy, I fell asleep in the chair today, while reading, so am hoping will be able to sleep tonight too. Love ya'll, Cindy
