It was cold and gray yesterday but the three of us inside had a great time together. The meal was HIGH in fat and definitely not vegan and my stomach was not thrilled with me last night...not at all. Ah well...such is life. I decided when I opted into this challenge for January (and longer?) that I would no doubt have days that I would not be vegan but I do sometimes wonder why we cook what we do when for the most part we all want to be healthy and thinner rather than heavier. I think we are skipping our gathering next week as the other American and I are going to go to the 90th birthday part of another American woman.
CHERRY: Take care of yourself and don't overdo it. Pamper yourself and hope you feel better soon.
LYNN: I am glad you had fun with your son. Hope being home and back at work is not all bad What are you looking forward to most about retiring?
BEVERLY: Hooray for the stitches out, the painted walls, the driving and not even gaining a pound for over a month. How many blue apron meals were you gifted and what have you enjoyed the most so far?
PAM: I miss music...used to sing in choir and play in band...ah well...how do you deal with recycling there?

Good morning friends,
It is a terrible rainy day. The painters are here to finish up anyway. I will be so glad to get the house back together. It rained so hard over night that I was kept awake by rain beating on the windows.
My second order from Blue Apron arrived yesterday, This weeks meals are WW with the pts included, I haven't tried them yet, but I am excited about it. My favorite meal from them so far, was pork loin & fried rice. I had never had pork prepared with fried rice. There is a lot of kale with the new order. Kale is not one of my favorite veggies, but we will see.
Lynn, glad you are home safely & you enjoyed your trip to visit your son.
Waving to everyone!

Good morning. It snowed a little during the night and is still very lightly snowing. I don't think we're going to get very much. According to the weather forecast we're in for about a week of cold, with temps around zero or below.
I am feeling a lot better. I think I'll survive. I did manage to wash a load of clothes yesterday, and I'm going to do the second load today. I didn't get the load yesterday folded, so I'll do that today too. It was mostly towels. Something else I'm going to work on a bit today too is to clean out the bathroom closet where I keep those towels and a lot of other bathroom and personal care items. I know there's a lot to be thrown or stored somewhere else.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Hello...cold here today. We expect some snow late tonight, but a bigger amount Saturday to Sunday. At least everything is closed on Monday for MLK holiday.
Tonight I am going for the naxolon training by the local police department. It is training to give someone who overdoses, a nasal spray that will bring them around. We will be getting kits to keep. It is important to be prepared. I'll be going right from work after I pick up my friend.
Have a great day all!

Iām checking in late, but I am here. Meals tracked and liquids being drunk. Grocery shopping done and while I was out, the tree left the house. Yay! Continuing to aim for blue. Have an OP evening beaches; I hope you all have reasons to smile.
