Hi owls, Spent most of the day at the heart clinic getting started in the CORE program. Not sure what the letters mean but it's a cardiac program that deals with all the areas of Daves heart function. Tweaked his meds a bit, drew blood and talked a lot. They would like him to go to cardiac rehab and I think it's probably a good idea. He would be able to get some exercise, monitored.
So tiring just sitting. Glad our DD drove us. Not hard to get to but kind of a different area for us.
Phyl, got a chuckle out of your senior moments.
Sitting in my sewing room thinking about working on my quilt.

hi owls, Betty glad you like the bra senior moments.
sitting in the sewing room thinking about quilting does not get it done. I have been there many times, turn the lights out and go back upstairs.
today jim came. we went to the catholic store and she bought a cross for her dgd. ordered 3 more for the dgk's.
then lunch at senior villa. then to the tree house gift shop to look around.
we did exchange presents.she love her sweatshirt. she gave me hard coasters with quilting designs on them.a thing to wear around my neck that holds your scissors. 3 tags like you put on suitcases.the tags are hard plastic. label on the inside and also hold like a purse size sewing kit.
does anybody use those type sewing kits. I have 2-3 in my sewing cabinet and have never used them.
my weight will be up it in the morning.even more so after today.
Betty the core program sounds interesting. be nice if we all could get in on one.
think it is pj time. phyl

Hi everyone,
Betty- sounds like a good program.
Today spent the the day in bed except shower. Feel like I might be getting sick. Hopefully today resting will be all I need. Tomorrow is my hair appointment. Hope I am not sick and need to cancel.
Rained hard all day today. Was wonderful.
Soup for dinner tonight. Yum

The bra story is funny, Phyl.
Betty, I hope he can benefit from all this and you get rest and less to worry about.
Mar, at least you didn't get sick until you got home. I think your rain will go north of me. Relatives backeast near Albany may get 18 inches of snow with wind.
I made it to silver sneakers yoga again. going for Tai chi Saturday, but i think it is a demo that day. Here is the one who does downward dog well.

Lin- I stared feeling a little sick after being in a smoky casino Monday night. Dry throat and cotton mouth. So far has not magnified into being suck. Thought a cold was coming on.
Rain has stopped in our area. No more rain predicted for at least a week.

I looked up CORE ... because I was curious!
C.O.R.E. stands for cardiomyopathy, optimization, rehabilitation and education.
Betty, is Dave willing to go to cardio rehab?
I went to quilting this morning and have been doing nothing the rest of the day, except fix dinner. I'm now fixing separate meals for us. hb doesn't want to eat the healthy things that I want to eat, and I won't eat what he's eating. Where possible I overlap. We both like eggs, and I have a new healthy source of eggs. He has toast, and I have roasted root vegetable plus yam, avocado or some combo. I eat fish, and he eats ground beef patties. So far it's working out fairly well. He's having problems chewing, particularly if he doesn't like something. I cook extra portions to make life easier. Even if I'm doing a little more work, it becomes less work when he doesn't complain.
