Paperwork filed for the driving license and I should have the new one in a couple of days. We had sandwiches in Chekka - ten dollars for two beverages, two sandwiches, garlic paste and a side of fries...not bad at all and I was able to order exactly what I wanted on the sandwich. Grocery shopping netted me vital wheat gluten so now can make some seitan...looking forward to that. Today I need to help hubby get cuttings or dig up rooted shoots of lilac and cologne to take tomorrow to Beirut. There is going to be a birthday party for a 90 year old American woman and that is what she requested.
CHERRY: I have had some vegetable dishes that were Philippine based...pancit has noodles and veggies and...there are no doubt others. Maybe all the vegetable dishes were gobbled up and only the meat left? Hope you enjoy the time with your son...even if you don't have any projects for him to accomplish.
BEVERLY: Sounds like you have accumulated as much as I have over the years. It sounds like you are making progress in decluttering your home! I moved to Lebanon with 2 suitcases...could NOT fit everything in two suitcases now!!!
LYNN: I like the idea that you have the plastic storage boxes waiting to be filled and have a plan to declutter How long till you retire?
PAM: I hope you found everything on your grocery list...and some great surprise as I did while shopping yesterday.

Good morning. My son left a little while ago but before he left he took the garbage out for me. He is so helpful with things like that. I'm going to be running into town today. I have a prescription I have to pick up and a few groceries to get. Also I need gas. I'm going to try to be out of here by 10 and home early.
Tomorrow it sounds like there might be a storm. A winter storm watch is in effect for tomorrow afternoon and into Thursday, with possible snow, blowing snow, and wind. A good time to stay home. This storm sounds like it is going to affect the eastern part of the state more, and the farther east into the central plains the worse it gets. Here we're more on the edge of it.
Have a good day, beaches, and those of you in the path of this storm, stay warm.

Cathy, it looks like I will be retired in about a month. The judge has signed off on my pension question with my ex-husband, so I just have to wait until these papers get to the pension system and I am free and clear to go...Can't wait!
It is freezing in the office today. I have my coat on. I am leaving at 12:30 as I have a board meeting at the senior building I am involved with. I had to do my minutes for that meeting. Can't wait to find warmth.
Nothing else much to report. Stay warm everyone!!
