I can't remember which thread I read it in - but someone had posted about one of the other points apps that also would give you the calorie count as well...if I remember correctly. I know ProTracker will let you do points plans OR count calories, but didn't someone mention that if you were doing for example, points plus, you could also see the calories under a certain tab as well?
Thanks, Jeanie

ITB will let you choose calories as a secondary metric no matter which plan you choose but I have cancelled my account there because the calories and macro's aren't as correct as say MFP is.If you want to figure out PP or any other points plan from a calorie tracker there is an online calculator that will let you convert it.

itrackbites ITB will let you choose calories as a secondary metric no matter which plan you choose Only with the paid version, not the free version. the calories and macro's aren't as correct as say MFP is. Also, it can't track calories and macros for foods that don't have complete nutritional data entered. So when I enter a food like an apple, which is a 0 point food on the plan that I'm using (Points Plus), there's no nutritional data showing for it. So no calories nor macros go into my calories and macros tallies for the day for that item. It pretty much makes this feature worthless. I tried to get a refund for my purchase of the paid app but couldn't.

susan092907 I didn't get a refund.I told them I didn't want to renew my Pro version so now there are no restaurant guides and I can't even put in name brand foods so I stopped using it and for right now I'm strictly doing MFP.

See if this thought makes any sense:
From the inception of POINTS, WW sought to provide an easy way to track food using low numbers instead of counting calories by the hundreds. That worked just fine before SmartPoints because we could pretty easily estimate points in our heads by dividing calories by 50 or 35 or whatever.
Then, along came SmartPoints. A formula so disconnected from caloric reality that there is no way to estimate points in your head.
So following Freestyle and tracking SmartPoints, but feeling the need to double-track calories to ensure that calorie intake is in the proper daily range seems to take the intended simplicity of the original intent of WW's points systems and turn it into something more complex than just counting calories.
This though came into my head after reading the various responses in this thread about 3rd party apps. Truly, there are so many apps that track calories and standard NI, trying to pick one of the very limited number of apps that track the various points programs just seems like Don Quixote's jousting with windmills.
