Good afternoon February hearts It is so nice and warm outside for the first day of February it is 43° outside now with good sunshine!!!! It is going to be warm this weekend also but next week it will be cold again Friday with snow they say!!!
Doris, I hope you get to order your book soon!!! I ordered it this morning along with Dying For Danish by Leighann Dobbs!! You have got me hooked on reading!!!! I just love all theses books I have been reading on my kindle Fire!!! And I checked my on line bank and no charge as of yet for the new books, Dying for Danish should be free with Unlimited Kindle and yours should be a book Borrowed from Amazon. I also will keep looking for Book #3 The Cats Told a Fortune by Karen Anne Golden!!! I read the whole book #2 yesterday !!! I had to have the BIG filling taken out of my Molar on my left bottom and my mouth was sore when the shots wore off. It still hurts if I open my mouth to wide!!! I have a small jaw and it is hard for me to open it up wide for the Dentist to work on me!!!! He will have the new crown to put in next Thursday and I should be good. All the rest of my teeth are in good shape. I haven't had to get any pulled!!!!! We have good Dental insurance that covers almost all the money for crowns!!! My fillings where old ones this last one I had for 25 years and my tooth finally got a Crack in the middle of it so we did it before a big chunk would brake off and the tooth couldn't be saved. So I'm so happy my tooth was saved!!!
House is cleaned so now we can play Rummikub!!!!

It made it to 59. Had some sprinkles around but no real rain. Just a dreary day.
I gave my reason for disliking February but not the reasons I like it. I like the things that bloom this month and Valentines Day.
Peggysue, I stopped by DF's on the way out of town and we played Rummicub. She one all three games. That is all we played because I needed to get on home and she needed to continue getting ready to leave tomorrow to be gone 2 weeks.

We get these little snow drops that come up in the snow but if it is too deep it doesn't happen untll late Feb. they are really hearty and fun to see them popping up. but that is it. Later in the spring we get the crocus and daffodils and they can come up in the snow also. but that is long way away.

Connie it will be later this month before we see tree blooms. I will try to mention them as I see them. At the moment there are wild dandelions in my yard. They bloom close to the ground this time of the year.

AOTD: I guess southern CA is different. Our leaves haven't even finished falling. The trees are not even completely bare. But, some of the bulbs I planted in the little garden between my house and my tenant's house are already coming up ...and the grass is soooo green due to the large amount of rain we have had this year.
I'm hoping to be part of the challenge this month.....
Jim fell out of bed last night at 2:30AM...and I had to wake my tenant to help him back into bed. His butt hurts a bit today but he is OK.
Tucking you all in now in a LOVELY PALE PINK BLANKET WITH A CARDINAL IN THE MIDDLE WITH A VALENTINE CARD IN HIS MOUTH......(Picture that!) ....sweet dreams!
