During the night, about 2:30 AM Jim fell out of bed. I had to wake my tenant to pick him up and put him back in. We were up then until about 4AM so after that I couldn't get back to sleep. I had 3 hrs. Then, about 10 this morning I passed out on the couch. Jim was already taking his morning siesta. So, I finished the day with about 5 hrs. of sleep which is not enough but better than 3 hrs. Nancy: Things were a bit cooler today but at least no rain. I put a light jacket on when I walked Shana this morning. It was in the low 60's. It is supposed to rain again tomorrow and Sunday and maybe even Monday. We'll be at the beach house unless it is raining so hard that I don't want to make the trip. It is too hard to get Jim into the house when it is pouring. He has to go up the 7 front steps in the stairlift and the stairlift would be soaked. Sandy: Did the Hallmark store honor Fred's coupon? or tell him NO WAY!.....I used to have a WW recipe for a pot pie. I should look for it for ya! It was good, just a lot more work than buying them. Phyl: I didn't like the WW app either. But, I do use the Noom.com app and it's much easier to use. I like it. And, I even have a coach who sends me email. If I write to her she answers usually in the same day. And, if I don't make contact she gets online with me on Monday morning. I didn't have my cell fone with me at the beach house last weekend so, I used the IPad and that didn't work well with the app. So, I'll just stick with the phone and I deleted the app off the IPad. Let's get into our circle of wagons now and sing by the fire "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN....WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

Hi everyone thanks for the start Kathie. You are lucky you could get help for Jim at 2:30 am. Here I would have to call 911. We're having a heat wave here 15 going up to 40. Sounds like you better stay home and not go to the BH in the rain.
Sandy your weather sounds just like ours. I also had a gain so now I weigh 129.4. I'm not going to change my weight. We didn't have a lot at the meeting. It was still cold but it was great getting out. Hope they let Fred use his coupon for the cards. Hope your pot pie turns out to be a keeper.
Phyl when I got to the meeting they told us the number to call to make sure the meeting is still going on. A lot were canceled last week. Well, when I got home my app worked so I'm glad I didn't take it to the meeting. Maybe it didn't work because it was the first of the month and needed an update. It does take a little time early in the morning but it works fine on my tablet. I just can't be in a rush. I don't have that much patience. Bill tells me that all the time. I don't have the app on my phone. They don't put it on the TV as not all centers are closed. I also felt like quitting for a while, but once I took the class and calmed down I enjoy the app on my tablet. I'll take another class this month. I'm also on facebook. I love all the videos of my GGC. I also belong to Sensationals on the Move and they are on facebook. We started a new virtual tour of SA yesterday. That always encourages me to walk more. I hope you don't give up on us!
I had a great day yesterday! 16519 steps. It was great to be out and about. I even walked outside to the live music at Hickory Park. It was an accordian player and a guy on the clarinet and flute. It's wonderful that those accordians can sound like a full band. Got up to dance with a lot of people. The band had a few jokes and the brandy old fashioned was good. I walked, everyone was back at the mall and happy. Then I got a pair of pants at Ross for $7.99 and a lot of veggies and fruit at fresh and thyme. Hope today is as good. I will walk and maybe go to the meeting on dementia and do some shopping. Have a wonderful Saturday! Hugs and blessings to us all! See you in the morning

Kathie and Nancy since we were at Hallmark on the 31st the coupon was still good as it was good through the 31st. We did get a lot of cards though so we're good on them for a while.
We did like the pot pie and it was so easy. I added mushrooms to it as I like mushrooms. But all I did was brown the mushrooms, mix in a bowl a package of frozen vegetables, the mushrooms, a 12 oz can of chicken breast packed in water and two jars of chicken gravy. I poured all that into a 9 x 13 pan lightly sprayed with cooking spray and then took a 7.5 oz tin of biscuits and cut each biscuit into fourths and added it to the mixture being sure to get them covered with the gravy. Baked it for 25 minutes at 350 and then took it out and topped with 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese and put it back in the oven for 15 minutes. It makes 6 servings at 7 points each. I did run it through the recipe builder to be sure I was accurate on the points.
Will be interesting to see if our meeting is crowded today. It's supposed to be open house with samples of WW products but not sure what the topic is unless it's how great WW is to entice people who aren't members to join. But like I said earlier I do expect a gain so will not be surprised to see it on the scales.
Debbie's attorney contacted her to say even though this court date is just a review to see if Jeff got a new attorney she does have to be there. What makes me mad is nothing will be resolved and yet she has to once again take time off work and of course will be charged attorney time in court and it's beginning to look like Jeff does not have an attorney as Debbie's has not heard from anyone saying they're representing him so I worry if he represents himself how long will he get to draw this out for or will the judge put a stop to it. This has been so costly as right at the beginning he drained their bank account and started getting "temporary" alimony on top of all that money and she's getting very depressed over it all saying she works hard for her money and has to keep giving him over half as it's still being paid based on last year's law about basing it on gross not net income and until they have an actual hearing that won't change. But hopefully when it does change to the new law of basing it on net income he will be told he has to give back the overpayment. The other thing is house still not on the market so until court ordered he sits in a fully paid house with utilities being his only expense. Out of six court hearings he's only showed once and got nothing done to him except to say he should be there. Because of all this Debbie has needed our help and that makes her mad as she does make good money and so could he if he looked as she found several jobs at the hospital he could get that pay much more than minimum wage. It just makes no sense to me that he was the reason for the divorce and there's no reason for it to be dragging on like this.

I only gained .4 so I'm okay with that. Only 30 people were at our meeting and all are current members so since this was supposed to be going over the plan for people thinking about joining we spent the time talking about ways to stay on track and a lot of lifetimers shared what they do.
