Holly, This is how I cooked the turkey breast. (I found this on pintrest) Drizzle evoo over the turkey breast. Rub with a mix of smoked paprika, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Turn pot to saute and drizzle a bit of evoo on the bottom. Sear turkey on all sides. Add the wire rack and about 1/4 cup water. Put the turkey on the rack, close the lid, using the manual setting set the timer for 25 minutes. When done, let the steam release for about 10-15 minutes. It was about the size of a soccer ball (trying to remember how much it weighed, but it was about 5 minutes per pound for the cook time. It came out really moist and then I froze what liquid was left for soup.

AOTD:
1. There is about 90 % chance of rain here on Saturday. Highs in the upper 40s- low 50s. However, on Sunday night into Monday morning, they say if it rains, it might be cold enough for use to have snow on the ground Monday morning.
2. I put the toilet paper on so the paper rolls under. My cat, Muffin, figured out you could sit on the toilet seats and bat the roll and get all the toilet paper off the roll onto the floor when put the other way. This way, when you bat at it, it stays on the roll. In my guest bathroom (for the 10 years that I had Muffin) the toilet paper sat on top of the towel rack. She had figured out in that bathroom you could sit on the sink cabinet and get the paper to unroll that way.
3. I have knit (one scarf ) and have sewed but would not say I am proficient at either. My mom knit all the time and my sister crochets but I always blamed being lefthanded for having a hard time grasping the techniques.

1. Weather - seasonally normal for the upcoming week. Highs in the teens, maybe 20. Lows in the single digits above 0. (Last week, we had record cold weather. The lowest actual temp here was -29, the lowest wind chill was -59. And today - forecast 38 degrees above 0 - which is oddly high.)
2. Toilet paper goes on over the roll. Jan, I've heard other folks with cats say that they "under" method keeps the cats from unrolling the whole thing. Good idea!
3. Knit - I've tried, but never really learned. Crochet - very basic skills. I can make a scarf or other simple project, but still need to refer to stitch instructions as I go and I'm not fast at it. Sewing - proficient, have not made anything for a long time, but I'm confident the knowledge is still there.
Jan - thanks for posting the turkey recipe. I don't have a pressure cooker type appliance, but as I learnsee recipes and ways to use them, I am more interested in getting one.

1. Weather. The forecast is up into the 60's & even 70's this coming week. Quite a change from the teens we had this last week.
2. Toilet paper definitely goes under the roll. I don't know why, but that is just the way that I am used to it. When DIL visits, if she has to put out a new roll, she turns it the other way, soon as she is gone, I turn it back. LOL
3. I am from a family of extremely talented seamstresses. They could knit, crochet, sew, you name it. I, on the other hand, was always large sized & clumsy. I learned how to sew, from watching them all my life, but I never could ever get it right. At this point in my life, I can't even sew on a button. After sorting mail for 31 years, my hands would never allow it. My sister was the most talented person with a needle that I ever knew, I still have some of the handmade lace that she made, I am marveled every time I look at it.

What is the weather like were you are ? ** Right now it is cloudy and snowing lightly, you can barely see it. We have a winter storm warning for Sunday and into Monday with possibly 6 to 9 inches of snow and difficult travel conditions. I'll be settling in and watching it from my nice warm living room.
Do you put the toilet paper so it come off the roll over or under ? ** I like it to be over as it's easier for me to tear off, but I have a cat too that likes to unroll it. He even managed to destroy it when it rolled under. Now I have a holder that is upright and high enough that he can't get at it.
Do you know how to knit, crochet or sew ? ** I dabbled at crocheting on one time, but I never did become proficient at it. I did do a lot of sewing though, and made my kids and my own clothes. I haven't done much these later years. I also did some sewing crafts.

Not sure why I didn't see this yesterday...perhaps because I did not get on the boards till late in the day...
What is the weather like were you are ? Sunny and warm. This week's temperatures are forties and fifties at night and 63-72 during the day with either sunshine or rain depending on the day. Do you put the toilet paper so it come off the roll over or under ? over....no idea why...
Do you know how to knit, crochet or sew ?
Know how to knit, crochet, cross stitch, bargello, stitchery, embroidery, make clothing, quilt...have never made lace but have done a lot of needlework over the years. Don't do much now but did have a year recently where I made at least a dozen or more afghans.
