Happy Day All! 2-2-19
Emily – had to smile when you mentioned your frozen bingo markers. That’s honestly something I would never have thought of!
PeggySue – our temps are going to be about 10 degrees below yours. Just fine for me.
Mar – glad you’re finding clothes you like. I don’t think I was a size 10 when I was 10! Good for you!
Dayle – glad your sister came through the surgery well. My sister is 9 years older than I am, so I know what you mean about worrying about them. Interesting about them going from Ft Myers to St Louis for medical stuff. I like our doctor here the most, but stayed in GA for my shoulder surgery and would do it again to Chattanooga for major surgery. Particularly now after the hurricane.
BettyJ – so very happy to hear Dave is doing well. You’ve earned it. Something finally clicked for him I guess. Will pray this trend continues!
Phyl – you sure have a lot of projects going. My friend in eastern Ohio is the same way with her weaving and knitting. She gets a lot more done in the winter as well!
Lin – thanks for mentioning fertilizing the citrus trees. I’ll have to remind DH and hopefully we can save our Satsuma trees!
Connie – I absolutely love your descriptions and attitude about the winter weather. All these gals are positive and accepting and busy, but you almost glow over it!
Art - where are you?
Patti - I know you don't post on Roll Call, but was happy to see you back on Owls!
All went well yesterday – hooray! We were in and out of the diagnostic testing place in reasonable time. We'll only hear from the doc if something is wrong that needs treatment. Otherwise he'll see the doc in March.
The rest of the day was spent going through paperwork and trying to clean out our “important papers” boxes that we cart back and forth with us between here and the cabin. They were getting too heavy! Our contractor came out last evening and hopes to start on the FL room tomorrow or Monday. He sure likes to talk! We’ll be able to shut the FL room off and will be able to stay in the rest of the house while they work. Hopefully we’ll be gone before they have to come in the main part of the house.
Today DH is going over to Panama City Beach to a big AMVETS meeting, so I’ll be stuck here without a car. I may just binge watch something on Prime. We’ll see. Some alone time won’t hurt me at all.
I also need to take down some stuff on my desk as the contractor found another spot that may need to come down in the office ceiling. Hope not, but going to move pictures and junkie sentimental stuff anyway. Will be the neatest this desk has been in years! It has a hutch-type top that’s loaded with memorabilia and photos…..and junk!
Make your day a good one! Cheers…
