I see Cathy isn't on so I'll start this thread for her.
It is lightly snowing this morning and there is a wind. We have a winter storm warning tomorrow through Monday with 6 to 9 inches of snow possible and difficult driving conditions. I will be snuggled up in my nice warm living room watching it. I'll decide later this afternoon whether to go in to town for Mass. It will depend on how much it is snowing, as there is supposed to be a little snow this evening too. I'm hoping it is decent as I need a few groceries too. And my kitty needs his canned cat food treat. At least he thinks so.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Thanks for starting us Cherry!
I received my delivery of three WW meals from Blue Apron. I will let you know how they are. If we like them we will still order, but we will see. for the next two weeks I have a credit of $20 per week, after that it may be too expensive.
I am getting ready to get a mani...still 15 degrees, but we are supposed to hit 30...maybe.
I didn't get mail delivery for 2 days and I called the post office this morning and they told me my regular carrier was back today, so it will be delivered....I have what is in my mail delivery emailed to me every morning, so I know I was missing... a lot of mail including a monthly check. We'll see what shows up today.
Have a great day all!

Thanks, Cherry, for starting the thread. The internet was wonky this morning so I gave up. I did go buy a new device that has a blender base with a blender jug, smaller herb chopper with a mini-food processor blade and a third little spice chopper that works for coffee, too. Kind of cool actually! After that groceries and lunch and then cleaning and it is now 7pm.
CHERRY: I love thinking of you snuggled up in your cozy living room. Where does your cat hang out when you are in there? I have never heard of the vent freezing on the roof impacting the toilet/shower drain...learn something new every day.
LYNN: I have never heard of having an email sent to let you know what you are receiving in the mail...amazing! What is the first thing you want to do on the day you don't have to go into work and you know you are retired? Will you stay in pajamas and laze about or go out and about?
BEVERLY: Happy Anniversary! I saw the cute wedding photo of you and your husband on Facebook. I only have forty years in with my husband so you have more time in than I do. It amazes me how people like us stay together so long and some people are in and out of marriages in what seems like minutes. Both of my nephews were married but unmarried again rather quickly and yet their parents have been married to each other long than I have been married to my husband! I sometimes wonder what it would be like if nobody got married...would we float from partner to partner or stick with one person like you and I have done.
PAM: How often do you go in for a haircut? With my hair so short I am finding I feel it getting long in about 3 or 4 weeks but can sometimes go a week longer if push comes to shove. I will look for the This Week's Meeting Topic in the threads to see if I can find it. Thank you.

Good afternoon friends,
Just getting a few things ready for Super Bowl Sunday. My women's club always hold a "Super Sale", we sell chili, soups, dips, etc. that people might eat during the big game. That is in the morning, then in the afternoon, my family will come to my house for the game. I have made tortellini soup, chili, Georgia caviar & "fake" pecan pie. Half of it will go the the sale, the rest, for my family. As usual, my family will have more food than we need.
The weather here is warm today, we are supposed to be up into the 60s & 70s this week, no wonder the flu is raging!
Just planning on church this afternoon, maybe grabbing a bite to eat, or maybe just come home & eat what we have here.
Great weekend all!
