I looked online and it is builtbar.com. I looked at them. The flavors weren't that compelling. I like Quest Bars. Currently I am enjoying the chocolate peanut butter smash which is 190 calories, 20 g of protein (4 SP). That sounds really good, I haven't seen it. Is it Quest Hero? I love the blueberry, s'mores and oreo ones the best. It is just a regular Quest protein bar. It is called Peanut Butter Brownie Smash. I heat in microwave about 10 seconds. I did buy the sample box of Built Bars with a certain amount off...but the shipping cost as much as the bars did! I'll stick to what I can buy in the store.

I had free shipping. I thought all orders did. Nope, I got the sample box for 6.95 and they charged 7.95 in shipping.

I tried the Chocolate Mousse flavor tonight. It is my least favorite flavor so far. It's very bitter. I can't eat an entire one of these things. I've been cutting them in half and either sharing or saving it for another time. So far I haven't tried one that I felt was worth 3 SP. Laura M, I was able to get free shipping also. You must not be in the US. They say "Always Free Shipping within the contiguous USA" right on their website.

No, I live in Pennsylvania! I am in the US. They did not give me free shipping and it took about 5 days to receive them. I almost didn't order them because of that.

I ordered the sample box for $3 and free shipping. I didn't care for the fillings. The chocolate coating was very good.

Laura M, I think you should contact them and get your shipping money refunded. They advertise it right on their website!

Since it's been a few weeks, I doubt they'll give in.

Since it's been a few weeks, I doubt they'll give in. You don't know if you don't try. If they've violated their own policy posted right on their own web site, they very likely have broken Federal laws and could run afoul of the Federal Trade Commission. You should call and might mention that little tidbit of information.

This thread intrigued me so I got the sample pack and tried the Mint today. The verdict is... it's OK. As others have said, the filling is a little weird (I was expecting something more marshmallowy) but the chocolate coating makes up for it. Will try the other flavors after putting them in the fridge to chill.

I just tried the Vanilla Chocolate Creme flavor. This has been my favorite so far. Still wouldn't buy these again, but at least I found one that was enjoyable.

I keep avoiding this thread because my absolute all time never will be surpassed candy bar is a Rocky Road and everytime someone mentions the Built Bar and their marshmallow center I think of these. So if anyone knows anything that tastes like that ^^^ for less than 150 calories I'd really appreciate it. 🤣🤣🤣 I avoid eating protein bars except as emergency snacks when I am traveling. But when they taste like the delicious Rocky Road, I will be in. I'm in a WW private group that has been inundated with Built bar posts. I don't care what you say folks, this is not food.

I'm not a fan of bars or shakes---neither leaves me with a sense of satisfaction after I've tried them. That said, I have a collection of various bars in my pantry and some NutriSystem Turbo Shakes that I got as a bonus when I bought some NutriSystem food at Walmart. I used to throw the bars in my work lunch bag and grabbed them when I needed something quick and couldn't stop to really eat something but I agree with jamescat1 , they are not food. They fill a hole and that's about it for me, and they don't even do that well. Okay in a pinch but otherwise not worth the calories. My DD is into the whole Beach Body thing and love love LOVES the shakes and bars. She has done really well with the whole program, looks great, and is now selling the stuff. No thanks, I'll pass.

I do like the Quest protein bar for a snack every other day but it would never satisfy me for a meal.I eat them for the fiber(not the protein)because of my IBS-C and it usually helps.
