Good morning all,
Temperature today will be 52*. With temps like this, can spring be far behind. Here's hoping. Church was good yesterday but the Pastor was not there. His baby was born on Wednesday and I think his wife had a C-section. So he was home with her. His first grandchild was also born on Wednesday so their families are really excited. His wife had a girl and his daughter had a boy. There was only one couple there yesterday so we had a small group, just 4, for lunch. We went to Loonie's Pub because the Super Bowl was going to be later in the evening and it would not be too crowded. I still have half of my meal leftover for lunch today.
We evidently had mail delivery yesterday because there were packages here when I got home. The smocking books were here and also the counted cross stitch kit that I had ordered. The kit is a baby announcement for the Pastor's baby. I was undecided between two kits and I thought I ordered a bunny. But the one that came was the teddy bear. So I decided to keep it and started working on it yesterday. I put in about three hours on it while I watched TV and Ed napped.
Today is aquatic exercises at 10:30am and then I will stop to get two prescriptions. I hope the exercises aren't too hard so I can do the store a bit.
Phyl, The jacket was two years old when the seams came out the first time. And I really love it. The color is beautiful and it fits really well. That is why I bought it again.
Have a good one.
