Jane I also wonder about him receiving alimony so it will be interesting to see if he still has this same lawyer on March 27th as Debbie's lawyer more or less told his lawyer to put Jeff's name in every spot he had Debbie's name as he's the one causing problems not her and she's been the most agreeable client she has ever had whereas Jeff has already burned through two lawyers!
Today is Debbie's birthday so tonight we're taking her, Maija and Sam for hibachi. Jim can't come as Thursdays are his daughter's dance class and he's always been the one to take her.

Good Morning!
Early morning yoga today. No teachers class this afternoon because they have a meeting after school. Since I didn't have to teach we were going to go to the first concert on the beach of the season. Mike has come down with the flu, so we won't be going. He went to the Dr. and they gave him tamiflu. We have more family coming in town for his birthday on Saturday. We have not decided if we will cancel. It will depend on how he feels today and tomorrow.
Yesterday Kathy and I went out lunch and shopping. I was shocked that I didn't have my usual 2 lb gain. Instead I lost .4 YAY! Still tracking every bite and getting my steps in most days.
QOTD: Most days we're multitaskers, juggling personal, family and work responsibilities. How do you make sure it's hunger, not habit, and keep your mind in the game when you are busy? Do you eat regular meals when you are overly busy, or do you skip them?

Good morning
Sounds like we have a mess outside according to the news, I haven't looked out yet and I need to get out for a few errands. I'll make sure the roads are OK before heading out.
Sandy...I love hearing stories about your fur babies it just puts a smile on my face. Happy birthday to Debbie.
Ruth….Hope Mike feels better son.
AOTD.....If I have a busy day, if I've pre-tracked my meals then I'm OK and just make sure I'm home to have them, but if I don't plan that's when I get into trouble. So far this week since I've planned my meals and tracked each day I'm doing OK

AOTD: I try to eat regular meals but I'm finding lately I need to just listen to my body. I will plan what to eat for the day and follow that plan but only if I'm hungry. Some days I check off everything I planned to eat and other days if I'm not very hungry it doesn't get checked off.

Good morning. We are having gorgeous weather with high about 80 and sunny. When our northern friends begin to have that, we will be too hot. So I will enjoy today.

AOTD: We eat regular meals. I never or rarely skip a meal. Breakfast and lunch might be separate but dinner is together. And it’s always too early for me but by 5 pm Don is starving. Then of course I need to eat something again by 9. I rarely go to bed before 11.
Happy birthday to Debbie. And get well soon M.
I have art group this morning so I need to eat, shower and go.

Good morning. Happy birthday to Debbie. So sorry Mike has the flu. Our maintenance man at work had it and he said even his hair hurt. Getting ready for crochet group and lunch with them. Don't know where we will be eating, but I would like a salad for lunch. I'm making chicken meal balls and vegetables for dinner. The same company that makes the chicken sausage and the same flavors are available in meat balls. They were an extra 200 points at Kroger so I gave them a try. I saved 60 cents a gallon on gas yesterday. I plan on three meals a day. If I skip one or wait too long, I over eat and eat all the wrong foods. Yesterday I decided instead of an early lunch before yoga I would eat after. By the time class was over and I dropped off books at the library, I went straight to sonic and had chicken strips and onion rings. ONION RINGS, what was I thinking? I had over 80 carbs for that meal. That is close to my daily amount. Then I stopped by Popeyes and tried their new tenders as I had already blown it, so why not? ? That is why I need three meals a day and cannot wait until I am hungry. I did have some nuts and a babybell cheese for dinner as I still felt bloated from my unbelievable lunch. 20 years ago when I went to WW we were told to eat our meals and planned snacks on time because if you wait until you are hungry you would probably over eat. That for sure it me! We had tornadoes in our area yesterday. They were on radar but did not touch down. We did however have too much rain and there were flood warnings and some schools are closed toay because of the rain, high water and more is in the forecast this afternoon. It should be around 70 again today and then drop to high 20s tonight. My forsythia are showing their buds and a little color. I'm afraid that if we get a hard freeze we may not see any pretty yellow flowers this spring. It does happen once in a while here where the spring blooms are almost out and then winter hits with a vengence again an we have a spring without the beautiful colors. 25 years ago we had 14 bradford pear trees that all bloomed in early April. We had a very warm winter and they were ready to bloom in early March. We had an ice storm which killed all the buds and not one flower was seen that spring. Off to get dressed.

Debbie's at home with Maija as Maija scratched her cornea so she took her to urgent care and they gave her antibiotic drops but they still want to go to dinner so hope her pain eases by then. But Debbie got a delivery of a dozen roses from Jim and they look beautiful! It's ten red and two yellow and she said the yellow represent the friendship they've built and the red their relationship. Since he did that for her birthday I wonder what he'll do for Valentine's Day? In all her years of marriage Jeff never acknowledged her birthday or Valentine's Day.

Hoping Mr. M gets better soon. DGS also has the flu and missing school, son took him to DR. but they just said to let him wear it out. Dad not happy. Leland is to have wrestling match this Saturday with District Tournaments next week, but will see how al that goes. If sick can not compete.
Happy Birthday to Debbie, enjoy your evening.
Be safe Joanne.
Same story, different day here, No school today, sleet, lightening freezing rain and was snowing. Am downstairs so not sure if it still is. Under weather warnings until 6pm this evening. Then real cold and strong winds.
I rarely miss the opportunity to eat. Usually 3 smaller meals per day with 2 snack times.

Good afternoon, friends. Just got back from chair movement and socializing at the senior center. Eating lunch while I post as my handyman is coming to put in a new toilet shortly. Then I have a mani/pedi scheduled.
My first husband came through the bypass surgery well. DD will be visiting him this evening. His son by his second marriage has agreed to see him during the day. I'm glad he has acquiesced to do so. Everything had been on DD's shoulders.
AOTD: Such a good one, Ruth. I do better when I have everything planned and am busy. Having all that time on my hand during my recuperation from the broken kneecap was hard. The only times I miss a meal and it is ok is on some weekends if I sleep in. Then I usually have a brunch and dinner. If I have a late snack it works out ok. Other wise I really need to eat three meals and healthy snacks or I get ravenous. I'm doing more mindless eating lately but I know that is anxiety.
Have fun at Debbie's birthday, Sandy. I hope Debbie's eye is ok.
And get well wishes to Mike!
Envying you and your gorgeous weather, Sharon. It's not terrible here but you can feel the winter today.
Geri, what company makes the chicken sausage and meatballs you like?
Stay warm, Karen E.
I watched 9 to 5 last night. The three women look so young. Of course they do. It was released just shy of 40 years ago. I am such a fan of all three of them now. Lily Tomlin is a treasure.
A ton of things on my to do list. I'd better get started. Have a great day, all.
Gail

Happy Birthday to Debbie and I hope those ailing are going to feel better soon.
The cable man was here and I gave him the 65 inch TV which had a wonderful picture but I can not handle it when the power goes off and it goes out. I have been lucky that hasn't happened in over 3 months but once the rainy season arrives it happens weekly. I went to Best Buy and bought a TV and a sound bar. The sound bar will be shipped so I hope I can hook it up by myself. The TV is in the car and waiting for the cable man to come back and hook it up and take away the huge one. He seemed very happy to get it and who wouldn't when it played perfectly while he was here and with his experience he should be able to get it up and running whenever it goes out.
My WIFI seems to be working better but I rebooted this so that helped, too.
I need to have some lunch--I made more soup so will have that.

AOTD: When I am busy it is easy to skip a meal but I really try not to. Like Geri, if I wait too long, I over eat and nothing seems to satisfy me. My social life often messes up my meal schedule, so planning is everything. When I am out with a group of friends and my meal time is delayed beyond what I am accustomed I do generally have almonds or an apple in my purse that will hold me over. If I go out with my book club we are never served until 8 p.m. That is too late for me so I will eat a light meal at home beforehand and have a soup or salad or appetizer with my friends.
Sandy, Happy Birthday to Debbie. I love the 10 red roses and 2 yellow. Very thoughtful of Jim.

Gail, I had to laugh at your observation of the actors looking so young in 9 to 5. I watch an episode of DALLAS from Season 2 yesterday when I couldn't find anything to watch. OMG...they, too, all looked so young. Have we aged that much, too? LOL

The poor cable guy had to work and work to get that huge TV out of the house and fit it in his truck which was already full to the top. If he didn't take it I was going to have to call a company to take it and that was about $180 I had been told. The TV was working great and had no problems in the last 3 months so I hope he enjoys it. I see he forgot the remote but of course has the cable remote. My new TV is a Smart TV and the remote has all that extra stuff on it so maybe I will find out about those streaming things but not tonight. I have laundry going and will be heading to the concert before 6.
Tomorrow I am going to have to go get groceries. Today all I got done was a couple of phone calls and this TV shopping and cleaning one bathroom. I have 20 pages to finish my current book so that and finishing this load of laundry and a bit of dinner for Kelcy and me and I will be gone.
