Happy Day All!
BettyJ – so sorry I didn’t wish you a Happy Birthday yesterday. So…a bit late but heartfelt.. Happy Birthday to you! *¨*.¸¸♥ ¸¸.*¨*♫♪ Happy Birthday to You! *¨*.¸¸♥ ¸¸.*¨*♫♪ Happy Birthday Dear Betty ♪♫*¨*.¸¸♥ ¸¸.*¨*♫♪ Happy Birthday to YOU! ♪♫*¨*.¸¸♥ AND MANY MORE!
Thanks to all for the kind words and support and suggestions. You all are a group of caring folks for sure.
Yesterday was actually a pretty good one, even though the church did not take the piano. I played it a little bit and the music minister from the church played it a lot. I loved hearing it. I finished cleaning out the desk and now wish I’d thrown more out rather than just hiding it! It’s day will come when I have nowhere to put it back!
This morning we’re making what we hope is our last trip into town to go to the bank, and the contractor is coming out this afternoon to cover/wrap the piano and we’ll be getting the last of the stuff packed up to leave early tomorrow morning for GA. HALLELUJAH! NW Georgia here we come! It’s been beautiful there all week – in the 70’s, but another cold snap is coming through this weekend. I don’t even care!
Hope everyone has the best day they can manage! Stay safe. Will be back Sunday or Monday.

Good morning, Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Penny, I could almost hear you singing to me. So happy that you will be headed to Georgia tomorrow.
The snow and wind have stopped.Have to clear off the patio again for Ozzie.
Spent my birthday at home. Roads to bad to venture out. DS and family came over last night to have some DQ cake they had brought. I sent the rest of it home with them. Not something we need around here. DH is struggling with his weight and blood sugar right now.
No plans for today.

Good Morning All
Penny - Surprised the church didn't take the free piano. Do have a Safe and Comfortable trip back to GA. Pictures you posted of your street are really sad.
Emily - Celebrate your First Bingo of 2019 by Winning.
Just doing the usual laundry.
Everyone try to make this a Favorite Friday.

PeggySue - that's not my street, but one in town. However, pretty much all the streets have changed that much.
I think Charlie knows something is up - we're putting stuff by the front door and that's a real clue we're headed out soon. He's excited and acting really goofy! So glad we have him!

Penny, so Charlie is acting a little goofy...... Lily is upset about the rain and has planted herself on the stair landing and not budging. I'll take goofy over weird any day!

Happy for the better day, Penny.
33 here with frost all over. unhappy ficus trees.Had not covered anything as the prediction was not so low. We are six degrees lower than the airport. Dog decided partway into morning walk that he wanted to go home and burrowed into his bed blanket! DH crawled back under his blankets!
I have not seen frost in Feb in the last 20 years.
no predications on summer but Junes have been over 115 for at least a week followed by a lot of 110 and above until mid August, then 100s until October.

Good morning everyone,
Penny- wishing you a great car ride to the cabin. Maybe you will keep the piano and start playing it again. Might reconsider giving away the desk. You might need it in the future. If you do not then give it away.
Betty- that's good you celebrated a little. Glad your son came over.
Lin- yup our frost is unusual also hope the new plants survive out front. So far only 2 look weird.
We we are expecting rain on Sunday then another big 3 day storm next week. So unusual. I need to buy a cozy over sweater. Want it in black. Going shopping for it today.
Today will definitely get out the recumbent bike. I need to move more. Today's project is cleaning both bathroom toilets, sinks and counters.

My DD and her DH took the old dog to the Vet early last evening to have him put to sleep. It was really hard for them and we will all shed a few tears. That dog sure had a personality and was a member of our family for long time. He had been really suffering and it was past time. I am so glad they did it finally. Every time I watched him for them I would come home and cry. So sad. DD says no more dogs and know she means it!!
It is very gusty today and only 26° but sure need the heavy jacket. Snow flurries in the air but I did go to library to get my book they are holding for me. couple of the roads still have standing water but most of it has run off. I am watching a small leak in the basement, think it is where the sidewalk is connected to the wall. This is the first time but we had down pours for hours and lot of places are flooded. Will have DSIL look at it when he comes or it may dry up by then. Know that sidewalk slopes to the house not away.
Safe trip to Ga Penny. Enjoy getting away for a bit.
BettyJ, glad you had company for your birthday and Oh MY we love that DQ cake. Couple of my DGSs still want it when they are coming to town. Seems to be a family tradition!!

Connie- so sorry to hear about the dog. I can totally relate to not wanting another one. I still don't want another one. It will be 2 years in May since we put down Abby. I have had dogs most of my life. But now love the freedom without one. I get to play with daughters dog.

So sorry about the dog.It is so hard. At least dogs can be relieved of endless suffering. He can rest now.
Electrician coming back next week..two switches supposed to work together don't! You turn it off and lights are still on. You have to flip one then the other to make one of them work at all! We thought we were absentmindedly forgetting. nope.
Lost another pound. That makes 3.5 last four weeks.16 to go. DH is joining me finally.

The chair is wonderful, Dayle! You went from thinking about it to a photo op in nothing flat. Amazing!
It's a lot warmer here today at 20 degrees. The lows are minus or single digit for the next ten days. The highs are all below freezing. Spring will get here eventually, but it won't be until a week or so before summer.
Lots of news about deaths, divorces and other events that make it harder to feel upbeat about every day. I feel like the state of world and national disequilibrium is creating an environment that is more problematic for people in general.
