Rainy weather. Going to spend part of today with a friend. We will play cards, may eat and will look at some African fabric someone gave me that will be made into a caftan, dress or cut-edges seamed so I can tie the fabric to wear as a wrap instead of cutting to fit only at one weight.

Weekend - nothing special planned (that's OK - it's good to have some un-scheduled time). Grocery shopping and other errands this morning. Other than that, probably some crafting, try to do some training with the dogs - whatever we can do indoors (it's too cold outside to be out for long.)
Weather - cold today. More snow forecast for Sunday.

I don't have any specific plans either this weekend. This afternoon I'll go in to town for Mass at 5:00, but that's about it. Tomorrow afternoon my son will be coming and will stay until Tuesday. We'll catch up on some recorded TV shows that we both like to watch.
The weather has been cold. Early yesterday morning the low was -47 and the high was around -20. Last night it was only -19 with the high possibly -4. But there is a wind chill of about -30. The wind chill warning continues until noon tomorrow. That -47 is the coldest it has been for years.

No real plans for this weekend at all. Need to do some housework, but may rethink that. Church tonight, supper of pea soup at home, nothing else really planned.
Weather here is cool & clear, I think they are calling for more rain starting tomorrow. Hope it's not much, as the rivers & creeks are already out of their banks from the rains of a few days ago.

No real plans for the weekend here. The sun is shining and it is predicted to get into the 40’s. Fingers crossed snow and ice will continue to melt. I do need to get to a grocery store soon.

Four of the Wednesday group eventually found their way to Rosalie's yesterday. Rosalie showed me various dresses from Togo that we could use as patterns and we decided on one that I liked and fit and so we pinned and cut and then I sewed the seams...forgot to cut the curves so it is a bit wonky - I could remove the seams, cut and reseam BUT if ironing takes care of it and it fits and looks okay on...may not. The remaining fabric may become a headdress or belt or who knows what. I still have handwork to do but...that can be done another time.
Still gray and gloomy with some rain today (also yesterday) so will be inside today. I need to do some work in the kitchen and look forward to talking to family this evening - if the internet allows us to talk.

Cherry, I feel bad about even mentioning that we are having a cold snap here in Oregon and it is in the high 20s over night and the mid 40s during the day. I didn't wear a coat to church today since I pretty much only have to walk from the parking lot to the building but decided to go to the grocery store after church and missed my coat. I think maybe we got to 35 here today.
Other than my normal weekend house picking up, nothing special planned today. Yesterday was my food bank day, so that kept me busy most of the day. THe threat of dad weather (snow was forcasted) kept us from making any evening plans. I didn't get any snow, some of the higher elevations around here got maybe an inch.
