Got quite a bit done today. Took the doggie and kitty to have their nails clipped and then shopped for food with Jim in the car and when I got home my DD#1 helped me unload the car since Bobbie is still sick. Hopefully tomorrow Jim will take a bath for ME since Bobbie has been sleeping now for 2 days. Her medical insurance was cancelled by her ex......so, she can't even go to the doctor to get the antibiotics that she probably needs. Nancy: You are right that I probably need the P/T for my shoulder with degenerative problems BUT I just can't leave Jim 3 x a week to do that. I try to use it which probably helps somewhat but I know it is definitely getting worse. We're gonna have to nickname you Skinny Minnie soon! Sandy: I got my WW magazine today. I'm not going to renew my subscription tho' because the recipes in there are ones that I wouldn't eat. I prefer the old ones which have more points but at least they are made of things that we will eat. Harriet: I don't think I had a stroke. My right leg is the one I had surgery on years ago....(1970's)....patella ligament transplant and I haven't been exercising it like I always have done so it is very weak. I must discipline myself to do the leg exercises. It doesn't hurt but it is just plain weak and I have to pick it up to put it in the car....and onto the place where they were painting my nails. My DD#2 ordered me a new bra to replace the one that Shana ate. She is an Amazon Prime member so it will come quickly. I had ordered 2 of them ($32 each) so I'm down to one right now. She chewed the buckle in the middle front and chewed off both of the straps....I think because I wasn't out walking her on the ranch as she wanted. Spoiled baby brat dog!....LOL. She is definitely in the chewing stage. Let's get into our circle of wagons now and sing by the fire "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN...WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

Well, I tried staying in bed when I woke up at 3:00 a.m. but haven't slept, so threw in the towel and got up. I really must do something toward the issues that are keeping my brain awake, and then maybe this wouldn't happen. I am going to write the note to my doctor to accompany the EKG I must take to him, and THAT won't keep me awake tonight. I have outlines my tax prep in my brain, and a letter to my children about our timeshares - do they want them or don't they. If not, then I will really work to get rid of them. We will most likely keep the beach weeks, but not Massanutten.
Nancy, I do wonder what it would be to be anywhere near your 129 or 127. The lowest I EVER remember weighing was 135, and that was when I was nursing DD#1 and when I got to goal with WW the first time in 1975. My goal weight today is what I weighed when I started in the beginning. Kathie, I get it about the PT. Just wish you could get it, so things don't atrophy even more. That dog is a stinker. Chewing up bras! Indeed. Glad your DD ordered you new ones. I have finally found one that works so well for me at Ross and I will continue to look for it whenever I am there. $12.00 beats $40 any day. Hello Sandy. Do hope you are relaxing a bit.
I did go to the meeting yesterday. I do love that 7am Saturday morning group. I didn't Wi but on my scales I was up about 2# from the week of indulgences. I went down to walk in the pool and the lap pool was closed, so did my therapy exercises and some walking in the therapy pool which is much warmer...not a good place for a lot of cardio work. At least it was something. Today we will go to church, grocery shop at Aldi on the way home and probably have lunch here with DB#4 and/or our neighbors down the hall. Have a good Sunday, all. Let's keep going - we can do it!!

Harriet we do a lot of our shopping at Aldi as it's right at the end of our street. I love the way it looks now that it was remodeled and the fruit and veggies are right there when you go in the store. I remember years ago when it first opened and I considered it my treat store for the kids but we did love their brand of chicken noodle soup even better than Campbell's. They say because Aldi is owned by Trader Joe is the reason we won't ever have Trader Joe here in Peoria but I was in Trader Joe when visiting my sister in California and it still has a lot more products than Aldi does.
Nothing planned for today. Steak, potato salad and veggies will be dinner.

Hi everyone thanks for the start Kathie. Glad you got so much done but sorry that Bobbie is still sick. Wish she would go to the druggist and ask for his help. Good luck with bathing Jim. No thanks for the title skinny minnie. I'm sure it's due to my COPD and the inhalers. I've lost my sense of smell and I think that kills one appetite. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It sure is a rusty old age but I can't complain most of the people my age have it worse than I do. The women at the meeting said the new comfort cookbook has good recipes that don't need a lot of ingredients. 2 of them got together and spent a whole weekend cooking. Now you not only spoil Jim but Shana is right on the list of things for you to do. LOL!
Harriet you do have a lot on your mind. When I go to bed I say my prayers and then I fall asleep. I do get up to visit the ladies room but I go right back to sleep. Yes, when I first joined WW my goal was 132 I could never keep that weight and then they put it at 159 and lowered it to 155. It's much easier to maintain the weight now that I am alone and have COPD so enjoy the life you have at your goal weight. Funny you should mention Ross, I went there yesterday and bought 3. Sounds like you have a great day planned. Enjoy!
Sandy I also shop Aldi's. Many of their items I love. I also love Trader Joe's but it is Brookfield and Bay Shore. I got to those stores when DH was alive but now I only go when Bill takes me. It seems that Bill is hooked on Costco now so I don't get there very often. Your dinner sounds great.
Yesterday was boring. The only thing I did was walk (12818 steps) and go to the library. 2 of the movies I got I didn't like so ended them. I hope the other 2 are better. Today will be another zinger. Walk and church and then nothing unless Bill calls. Have a great Sunday! Hugs and blessings to us all! See you in the morning.

Good morning, Ladies!
I have been "lurking" on the sidelines for a while -- because Sandy stopped posting on the other thread!
When I read that all of you visit Aldi's, I had to comment. They have Austrian candy! (No, it isn't WW friendly! LOL!) It is, without a doubt, the very best! It's Choceur brand. Both the milk chocolate and milk chocolate with almonds is just like what we found n Germany. So creamy and delicious!
Now, 30 lashes for me because I tempted your tastebuds. Hope each of you has a nice day! ~~Mollyann (from Healthy Hearts)
