WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C95D13, 14 pts and 920 calories + isolated Β½ Boston Market meal, 8 water, K9:00-1
3 x around the mall today but no other exercise.
So I did have meatloaf (no gravy), mac n cheese, creamed spinach, corn muffin. Half of everything. The other half will be Monday nightβs dinner. The portions werenβt terribly large so this may not be as bad as I expected. I think I got their mac n cheese and creamed spinach out of my system. Next time back to sweet potatoes. Unfortunately they discontinued the stuffing.

Quick post this morning. Drove Jack to school, did a load of laundry, started the dishwasher, and vacuumed upstairs. Off to work now. Excellent eating yesterday. Two days in a row!
Nancy, 9260 calories? You must have been hungry π

Jan - oops - 920 <g> Good eating on your part. How about three in a row??
I just realized that WW has Boston Market info on the tracker. Turns out each half meal comes to 20 points and 555 calories - so that makes yesterday 1475 calories and 33 points. I think I'll add that to my tracker and stats both days instead of isolating it.

Good Morning!!
Yesterday was an easier and more productive day...I even fit in a Pilates and a 10 min arm workout..can you believe I'm starting my 6th week of 2X strength training. Wow, time is flying..and I do see and feel a little difference!!
Jan, what an exciting weekend!! So happy for Alex and all of you!! Great article and photo of Alex!! Way to go!! Isn't it nice starting the week with excellent days of eating behind you!!
Nancy, great job with Boston Market!! Wonderful you were able to track it and see that it wasn't so bad!! I like to look up the points, it helps me to fit in the leftovers. I think the key to eating out is keeping the rest of the day low in points (calories) and enjoying 1/2 of an entree. Makes it doable, IMO.
Kathy, hope you had a great D1 yesterday!!
Off to a meeting.. Lori

Lori - Even half portions are kind of pointy but I'm at the point where the change is worth it. Your new exercise regime is fabulous. That you already notice a difference is icing on the cake. I can almost guarantee that before long you'll be moving it up to 3 days.
A new discovery learned at my meeting. Did you all know that Boars Head makes turkey pastrami? It's quite good. 1 point for 2 ounces which makes a generous sandwich - 60 calories. I warmed it in the microwave for 20 seconds. It's like deli turkey but with pastrami-like seasoning. You get it at the deli counter. It was good on 647 wheat.

C39. D2!!! Wow. I really needed a full day of healthy eating. Today I got in 70 minutes on the stationary bike and pretty healthy food. Yesterday and today I'm aiming for 28 points -- the highest number I can eat and still get the blue dot.
B= fresh blackberries, fruit/bran muffin, cappuccino (6 points) L= 1/2 Lavosh, chicken breast, FF Mozzarella, Red Pepper spread - broiled (3 points) Snack = 1% Cottage cheese, tuna with light mayo and relish spread on 5 wheat thins, cappucino, 2 points of dark chocolate (6 pts) D= Green beans, corn, Swedish meatballs and noodles and cherries for 'dessert (13 pts)
Nancy - good idea to track the 1/2 Boston Market dinner. It's hard to believe that only 555 calories would put you in the 'zone' for the appropriate # of WW points. I.e. you'd get your WW "blue dot" for that few of calories.
Jan - sorry to hear about the team and the vaping - dang! But congrats on Alex getting his pin!! :-) Crazy about the kids getting stuck in the elevators.
Lori - what's the 2X strength training? The ONE thing I miss moving from the Twin Cities to the Prairie is the fabulous gym/community center and the great weight room at my JCC. My DH got the family a set of the resistance trainer/rubber bands for Christmas and I haven't used them ONCE. But I was really strong and felt great when I was doing serious weight training.
Hi to Cindy - hope you are doing well.
Hi to Louise - hows that big ol' puppy doing?
Hoping to check in tomorrow as D3!!!
Kathy p.s. We're taking a beach vacation on March 30 so I have swimsuit incentives to get my act together :-0

Kathy - Yeah for D2. Looking forward to D3 Post. Believe it or not I have no clue what blue dots are. I've heard them mentioned but never got on that band wagon.
