WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C95D15. 4 rollovers, 7 water, 1246 calories, K9:00-3
Everything, including table tennis and beginners line dancing cancelled Tuesday due to slippery (icy) walkways, so no exercise. A nice day for catch up.
Jan – I think that’s 3 in a row for you – WTG!!!
Lori – I’ll definitely check out the Joseph Pita Bread. Is it sold in Shoprite? If so, what aisle?
Kathy – Good to know you’re all home safe and sound. Your life is a never ending drama. Some day you’ll look back at all of this and wonder how you survived.

Good morning. Four good eating days in a row. It’s nice to be back on track. The wind is outrageous this morning, 25-45 mph. Indoor run for sure. I miss summer! (And fall and spring!)
Nancy, better safe than sorry when it comes to ice. Speaking of line dancing, we’ll be doing the Cupid Shuffle in tomorrow’s senior class. Simple enough for me to teach on the spot.

Good morning,
Yesterday afternoon I was just so tired (not sure why, getting plenty of sleep). After work, I laid down for an hour (something I never do) and dragged myself to do a pilates 20 min tape. Felt much better after that but then this morning could not get up....just feeling very sluggish. My eating has been good yet, I'm feeling heavier...who knows...just moving forward, making healthy choices and hopefully will get some energy back...
Nancy, I found the pita bread at Walmart...not sure about Shoprite, you can ask at the courtesy desk.. Jan, Your on a roll!! So ready for Spring and sunshine!! Love the Cupid Shuffle...too cute!! How did the chocolate hummus come out?? You reminded me that I had some Tribe dark chocolate hummus in the fridge - had it last night with a sliced apple...so good! Kathy, so glad to read you were home and safe yesterday!! Just get thinking about that beach vacation!!! Cindy, check in if you can...miss your post!!
Have a good day everyone! Lori

C39. D4. OP. Tracking. Exercising.
Lori - I felt super sluggish yesterday too. I thought I was getting sick, but like you, I jumped on the stationary bike for 40 minutes and then felt better. Good to remember that exercise and energize. I wonder if it is the time of the year, the extreme cold, lots of dark hours, etc....??
Nancy - I have two colleagues that fell on ice and were severely injured in the last big ice storm. So good choice on your part!
Sorry this is late and incomplete...
Kathy
