• Eat small bites, and chew slowly. Appreciate that your food fills you up and makes you healthy.
This is difficult for me. I always seem to eat too fast. How about you?
How did your week go? Were you able to stick to your goal?
I did a little better at being more active, but I still have to work at it.

Small bites and slowly are a challenge for me. I'm going to blame my job(s) in restaurants and food service - especially once in any level of management, eating quickly - before something happens that needs your attention - can become a habit.
I do try to appreciate food and I am truly thankful and grateful that I have easy access to food and the means to purchase what we need (and beyond that, the things that we prefer).

I do take smaller bites than I did before I joined WW. As for the rest...

Eating slowly is another challenge for me. I try to remember to lay the fork down between bites. My mom always ate very slowly, she said your food was digested better if you ate slowly & chewed your food well. I guess it worked for her, she lived to be 98. I am more conscious of the taste of my food than I used to be.
I have done a little better in the last few days, food wise. Thanks Cherry

Still working on eating slowly and savoring each bite. Ankara for the great reminder this week Cherry.
I’ve been working on limiting refined sugar this week which has kept me on target adding blue days.

I do notice that when I eat slower (so perhaps taking smaller bites as well) that I feel full faster. Been working on not feeling like I have to finish everything on my plate that I dished up. I also have been eating my veggies/salad first and then eating the main course. Kinda like a restaurant would serve the courses.
I actually tracked for several days. The weather here as been pretty rainy, so not much outdoor activity this past week, although I did get in my 10K steps everyday with mall walking, walking around Costco and dancing in my living room.
Cherry, Thanks so much for hosting.
