I hope everyone is well.
Karen, how was the Nustep today? The salve sounds nice. I am sure GF will appreciate it. It was 5 years ago that Iggy’s hearing aids went out in San Francisco and last year that I had to Fed Ex him a part in Mexico. Insurance does not cover his hearing aids.
Waving to the rest of the Gang.
We are under a boil advisory. There was a water main break under the Great Miami River last evening and it took them hours to find it because of the high water levels. Our neighborhood is one of the areas affected. We have our pressure back but the county is advising is to boil before comsuming. We always have bottled water on hand for emergencies, TG, because all the stores were out of bottled water this morning. Last evening the news said the entire county was on a boil advisory. This may last 24-48 hours. I have to remember to brush my teeth with bottled water.

Cute card Linda. Chele, hope the boil alert doesn't last too long. It's a good thing you had some water on hand.

Linda, your card had me giggling.
Here are a few punny fruit and veg related Valentines from an email I received. Peas be mine. I love you from my head tomatoes. You make me so berry happy. If you were a vegetable, you’d be a cutecumber. Show me you kale. Olive you.

Happy Valentine's Day, All! Hope everyone has good weather to enjoy it.
Chele, I'm remembering your having to FedEx Iggy a hearing aid part last year. I guess those things can only be repaired so many times, which is a shame with them being so expensive. Oh, NOOOOO, on the boil advisory! We also keep bottled water on hand, and I'm glad you do as well. I hope it's 24 and not 48 hours. Can you put a bottle of water in the bathroom sink where you brush your teeth to help remind you? The NuStep went well. I took off my shoe and had an insole to put my foot on. I did half an hour and turned down the resistance and used it totally for cardio. When I got off, the woman on the adjacent NuStep said something about how fast I was going and I told her I had had surgery and it felt good to be able to get back and do something. I also did a little upper body on weight machines but didn't push it and no lower body at all. I am going to see if I can find some foam to use for my foot both on the rower and when I go back to the NuStep on Tuesday. I might have some in the craft stuff that I can repurpose. Foot is a bit swollen but I don't know if it's the NuStep or all the standing, waiting in line at Aldi, the PO, and just about every other place I had to stop. Could also have something to do with being over 9K steps so far. Probably stopped more places than I should have but got everything done. LOL on the produce puns.
LOL also on the cards, Linda. I love the "To Dog Park Crush". Too funny! One of my good friends has a dog who is a bacon addict, so I thought of her Jake when I saw the card one of the dogs was holding.
Kathy, is tomorrow an on, off, or semi-off Friday for you?
How was the buffet, Becky? Hope you got there at a time that it wasn't too crowded.
Liz, how's the week going? Has your snow melted?
It took a while to get all the groceries put away (more time on my feet). I will stop on Tuesday for last minute stuff, but today was the big Aldi trip and I think everything I got there except berries and kiwi was for Dale or Arya. I have no plans for the afternoon except staying in a seated position with my foot propped up working on ppt. We had bright sunshine earlier but it's starting to cloud up. It's in the upper 40s but supposed to get into the low 60s and then start raining yet again. If we were getting all snow, I think we would be buried by now.

Karen, you wouldn’t be you if you didn’t push it. I am sure all the standing in line did more to swell the foot than the NuStep. Good plan for the afternoon. My GF in another county called and offered her shower. I told her the health dept said showers are okay. She had to call her DS back, because she told him not to shower. It is spring like today but cloudy. Tomorrow we are back to winter.

Chele, that picture looks cold.
They are flooding in Cal. It is on the way here. It has been sprinkling here, but I did errands and the dog walk. Rain should start this afternoon for three or four hours..most if it headed up the west side of Phoenix and north.
First job was digging out a bushel of weeds on the side of the house. I tried to kill them with homemade spray...they laughed and grew six more inches in two days. Good exercise. I am going to feel that later! I got out if the car half hour later stiff and ten years older.
Lot of traffic today. It took me 25 minutes to go to Krispy Kreme for a couple of their special Valentine donuts, and that is only 13 miles away. Another 20 to get to Walgreens and TJ's. Not wanting to go out in rain later so I got steak, baking potatoes, and blue cheese and lettuce for wedge salad .I have a good, lower cal blue cheese dressing recipe. Salads are made, so not much work later for dinner.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele I'm sorry about the water. It's a good thing you keep bottled water on hand.Boiling water would be a pain.
Karen I'm glad the NuStep went well.Maybe you still need to take it a little easy with that foot. The buffet was good as usual.I didn't do too badly.I was full but not stuffed. It's hard to track when we go there because I never have a full serving of any food.I started off with the salad bar and I also had mostly fruit for dessert except I did have a few bites of banana pudding and about 1/4 cup of soft serve ice cream. We got there a little before 12:00 and it wasn't crowded but a few more people came in while we were eating.I imagine they were busier yesterday for the senior buffet.
Our high for today was 76 I think. It's sunny, warm and very windy.I haven't seen the evening weather yet but I think they are still talking about highs in the 80's tomorrow.I hope it's the lower 80's because that's too warm for me for February.
