Left at 3:45pm and got home at almost 10pm yesterday. Longest time away from home since before surgery. Feeling it today but still have partial list to accomplish before tomorrow. Still no word from the hospital on when I need to be there. Dentist at 1:30. Still haven't figured out if I have enough energy to work out.BBL

Thanks for the start Karen. That was a long time to be away yesterday.I was already asleep by time you got home.I hope the dentist appointment went well.If I were you I would skip the workout since you have surgery tomorrow. You can always get back to your workouts after both of your feet have healed.
It's 41 and dreary here. The wind isn't as bad but being damp and wet outside makes it feel cooler. We made a quick trip to HEB this morning and came right home.Scooter did not want me to leave and she wouldn't stay in the house so she stayed outside and yes she did try to get out the gate with Kenneth. He says when he goes out without me she never tries to get out the gate so she must be wanting to stay with me.We do need to go to town to mail bills tomorrow but if I don't need any groceries I may stay home with her in the morning and let Kenneth go by himself. It's supposed to be sunny part of the day tomorrow and then go back to raining on Thursday I think. It's supposed to be in the upper 30's in the morning but is supposed to warm up during the day.
Liz I hope the commute to work wasn't too bad and that work isn't too terribly painful.
Kathy I'm sure you are getting excited about your upcoming retirement.
Waves to Chele and Linda.

Karen, thanks for the start. How did the meeting go? Did you get a plan for the plant sale so you know who is running it? How was the dentist? I can’t believe they still have not called about the surgery time. That is really inconsiderate. Like Becky, I hope you skipped the workout. Did Dale help you with the vibration plate last night? Becky, Scooter is becoming a real Mama’s girl. It is nice have a break from the rain, I am sure. Linda, good call on putting in your own chiles. I find the Rotel too spicy for me. How did your plants do last night? Pretty soon you are going to get snow. Kathy, I can’t believe how warm you are. So 6.5 days to go! Woohoo! Liz, I hope the commute wasn’t too bad today and that the forces of evil took a day off from tormenting you. I did a deep clean of the kitchen today from mopping to degreasing the hood over the stove to wiping down the baseboards. The toaster needed a deep clean too. Time for a cup of tea.

Chele I will be glad to see the sun tomorrow if it does come out.It looks so dreary out the windows now.The temps have stayed at 41 all day.You have been busy.Kenneth took Scooter out earlier to do her business and she decided to stay out for awhile. When he went out to do his stuff she was ready to come back in.She is laying on Kenneth's recliner trying to sleep now.I don't have to show her much attention but yes when we leave she seems to want to go with me.Marcie is laying on my legs right now and who knows where KK is.
I have done one round on the recumbent bike.If I get the energy later I will do another round since it's definitely not walking weather.

Hairdresser cancelled because she is sick and rescheduled for Thursday. Used my time to mail something, dropoff stuff at Goodwill, pay property taxes at my bank, go to Costco which keeps moving stuff!, and pick up an avacado for tonight's experiment..portabello mushroom and grilled halloumi burgers. All of that is basically within three miles!
Karen, good luck with the other foot tomorrow. Will be thinking of you.

Becky. 41 and dreary sounds exactly like what we've had today. Are you sure we aren't neighbors?? I'm usually asleep by the time I got home last night, too. I did skip the workout. Too tired and had to save my energy for the dentist and grocery store. I almost fell asleep in the dentist chair before he came in. I checked my Fitbit and I got zero deep sleep last night and less than 6 hours total, which is very low for me. After the master gardener meetings the last 2 months, I have had difficulty staying warm when I get home. Not sure why. Last night I think Arya must have sensed it because she was cuddled up close most of the night and it felt good. What do you think is going on with Scooter? Did you send Kenneth out by himself today?
The meeting was very long, Chele, and somewhat contentious at times concerning our proposed new greenhouse. I just hope we didn't scare away any of the new interns who showed up at their first meeting last night. The concerns a few people were valid but I think it should have been handled differently. But that's just me. We need to be at the hospital by 6:05 (I called them to find out and was told they were going to call me this afternoon) and I am his first case. So, if he's on time, I may be home by mid morning. However, while I was at the dentist, Dale said the hospital business office called and said I may owe another copay. From what I am seeing on the United Healthcare website, I should pay $125 for hospital outpatient services and we paid $250 before the first surgery, so I figured that was for both. That means we will need to go even earlier. That doesn't make me happy any more than paying more than I owe and having to mess around getting a refund. Vibration plate has not yet been unpacked, so I guess it will be a few weeks. Dentist didn't take that long. He gave me a partial shot of Carbocaine, drilled a little, then put in a composite filling, and I was on my way. Wallet was $263 lighter, however. I was expecting $100 so it was a shock. Good job on the deep cleaning. Did you enjoy your tea? What kind did you have?
Linda, it's probably best that your hairdresser canceled if she's sick. You don't want whatever she has. Is the flu rampant out there like it is in other parts of the country? I heard something about nasty weather in Flagstaff, so I hope it's not headed your way.
I hope today wasn't awful, Liz, given that you had yesterday off. Did I see that the next winter storm is heading your way?
Kathy, I got my Doctor #11 collection today, just in time to start watching when I get home tomorrow. Have you cooled off any?
Anxious to get tomorrow over with. Dale has decided we will leave Arya loose and just put gates up and hope things will be running on time. I had a bad foot day today, probably partially resulting from 3 hours sitting on one molded plastic chair with the foot propped up on another last night. I have put heat on it a few times today, so maybe that will help. We have to get up about 4:15, so it will be an early night for us. Fortunately it's dark and raining so great sleeping weather. Will check in tomorrow when I get home.

Karen It does sound like we could be neighbors. It's supposed to get down in the high 30's tomorrow morning then rebound to mid 60's with sun so that will be a one day reprieve anyway.I'm glad you didn't workout today.I think with Scooter it's because we have been going somewhere every day again. No I went along this morning and will probably go tomorrow also because we don't need much.I tried to get her to stay inside with the cats but no.She is outside now by herself and she is fine. That's early to be at the hospital.I'm hoping you can get to sleep early tonight and good luck tomorrow.I hate you are having to pay the hospital again and ouch on the dentist.
