LaDonna yeah to your low key weekend. I just LOVE the 'dancing bear' picture. Seeing as I love dancing that also puts a huge smile on my face. Thanks for sharing Bee I hear ya with the salt sodium bomb. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm one of 'those people' that will follow to the best of my ability anything that will help my health. I was blessed with two great surgeons this time around and did what needed to be done. Now I can go back to being ME Audrey I hear you on not being sick of rain going through such a horrid period of drought. Yuck to sharing a virus. So many people in our area our down with some sort of flu crud. I am keeping my distance!!!!!
Thanks, Becky. I've worked so hard to stay in my 'happy zone'...feels good to finally BE there!
June hope your parents are well. We did hear from our friends and they want to go to a little tavern here in town. Unfortunately they don't have much in the OP department....I'll make the best choice that I can. After all...it IS all about the company...I'll have to keep on repeating that to myself. It doesn't help matters any that this gal is a teeny meenie LOL........

DGD just sent me a tasting of the following. It is delicious. She also added chopped chicken breast, chick peas, cucumbers and black olives.

bee the veggie dish was to die for In fact, I've made plans with my husband and daughter to return for lunch Monday since it is a seasonal side and could be off the menu at the end of February. The acorn squash is halved and roasted. It was topped with broccoli, mushrooms, an heirloom grain I have never heard of and cannot remember, tiny pieces of butternut squash Wish I had photographed the menu description but I will do so on Monday. I am sure there was olive oil or butter involved. I could have skipped the chowder and just had it with my salad. I imagine something like Israeli couscous could substitute for the grain. I didn't realize it was stuffed in the squash. BUT it sure did look good. You could even stuff it without the grain, I think. Thank you so much. I love acorn squash stuffed with savory stuff.

Hmmmmm..... just lost my posts. So here's are shorter versions.
Audrey Am sorry to hear that you are feeling the effects of a nasty virus. Hope that you feel better soon. Hope that you can enjoy that seasonal special at least one more time.
LaDonna Love the whimsical "Dancing Bear" print. May it always make you smile.
Bee j Thx for sharing!
Ann Taverns seldom do seem to offer much in the way of healthy options. But I am hoping that this one is the exception. Knowing me, I'd order a burger w/ lettuce & tomato and swipe a few of R's fries. what did you choose? Hope a lovely visit.

LaDonna I love your print.
June Our low was in the 50's which isn't bad at all.The sun finally came out this afternoon and it is 75 now.I had a wonderful walk even with the higher wind.It will be 10 degrees cooler tomorrow afternoon but that's still better than the rest of the country.
Audrey I hope you feel better soon.
Ann Enjoy the time with your friends and enjoy their company even if the tavern doesn't have much OP.
Bee That recipe sounds so good.My DH also loves green onions.

KOKO will be key today as we have a potluck after church tonight. We’re going to take fruit tray and a veggie tray. I have soup ready when we get home if I need it. That’s my plan and I’m sticking to it!
