I find if I can get in most of the GHG's I end up with balanced meals.I realize it's harder to do on freestyle with only 23 points but I don't think their 0 point foods are very balanced either.Right now I am trying PP again with 29 dailies since I'm on maintenance and not trying to lose any more weight but just hang on to what I have lost.I find when I do Smart Points I don't get in enough points and therefore not enough calories. It's just a trial and if I end up not liking it like I used to I can always go back to SP but freestyle makes no sense to me.

That's true but when I was with WW the meals never changed. If bloggers like Skinnytaste can send out a weekly menu (for free), then WW can certainly do so. It's just another example how they're out of touch with their members.

I gained 3 pounds when I tried Simple Start. Which is neither here nor there, but this thread reminded me of that. It won't be too long before you start receiving things like this at meetings:

Is that seriously an old WW recipe?? If so, it is frightening and hilarious all at the same time!

It's just another example how they're out of touch with their members. No arguments from me. But WW is driven by GREED...always has been. And before anybody jumps on me to say that WW is a business—which I know—I will point out that there is a difference between running a profitable business where everybody wins and creating a value proposition that constantly leaves customers with the short end of the stick so the company can reap excessive profits. WW isn't the only company that suffers from this problem.

Exactly, Mike. Grocery stores are in the business of making a profit. But when I pay the grocery store at least I walk away with food for meals! WW hasn't felt like a win win for both parties for a long time.

‘Kickstart’ has me questioning a few things.
1. It is not available to on-line only members. As it is Open Week, on-line only members will have to go to a “workshop” to get it (albeit for free as it’s Open Week)
2. Is it a fair representation to the public attending Open Week? Would anyone get the wrong idea that you get this material every single week (at the moment it is for 2 weeks only).
3. If WW are trying to lure people back to meetings (I have no idea what they’re trying to achieve...get everyone to rely on the App which they seem to invest so little in developing, or trying to get more ppl to meetings which costs members substantially more money), why have they closed so many places in the past 12-18 months? When I re-joined my last time, I had a choice of 13 meeting times a week in the location near work, which was dwindled down to 3. Two near my home not only changed venues, but went from 2 meetings a week each to just 1 each.
4. There is no date scheduled for the release of WW Wins/Rewards program here in Oz despite Mindy’s claims that it would be in October 2018 in the US, and within the First Quarter 2019 everywhere else. The Australian customer service is telling members it will be rolled out throughout this year “sometime” which is angering quite a few members.. Is ‘Kickstart’ and new charms nothing more than a token gesture to make up for the slow roll-out.
I JUST DON’T GET IT.

Probably not, but it is being done as a marketing ploy and making people think they are getting more than they are is what most marketing is about. 3. Two near my home not only changed venues, but went from 2 meetings a week each to just 1 each. I seemed to me when SmartPoints was rolled out that WW had adopted a "pay to play" goal. Closing the old web site and message boards cut off people who weren't Lifetime in good standing or paying members from communicating with each other. Selling a new hand calculator that won't calculate your daily/weekly points targets seemed to be a ploy to make it impossible to independently follow the plan long-term without paying—as weight goes up or down, if you're not paying, you wouldn't know how to adjust your points. 4. I've stoped tracking daily points @ WW because the rewards I was interested in disappeared and haven't been replaced with anything I'd want or use.

We don’t get free eTools for LTM and it’s no secret you guys have it in the US.....this on top just adds to the pain more than anything else. One of the last comments I saw on Connect were comments to the tune “we pay our membership fees too and get less than other countries”. I doubt WW Aus would be able to come up with anything worthwhile in the Rewards...unless it was a reduced price subscription or cookbooks.
