Thursday I will continue to plan and track my meals. I picked up both fresh and frozen produce and will make a pot of veggie soup and hummus. The turkey breast should be defrosted so that will be supper.
I have decided to attend weight watcher meetings once a month. I'll go next Thursday as that will be for March. I weigh in daily so I can keep tabs on my weight that way.
My weight is within my happy zone again and for that I'm most grateful.
Also grateful that the roof is fixed. We have a dusting of snow. Not sure how much we're going to get. Happy that we have no appointments tomorrow.
Sleep well all.

Not much on the agenda today though DH wants me to go to lunch with him and I may stop by the club’s new member orientation. I call new members each month to count attendance for the luncheons and this would save me a lot of phone calls .I just had a horrible coughing attack and may stay in the bedroom during dinner. Salads are on the table. Rice is done in the rice cooker. Just have to heat green beans 4 minutes and season them. I’m probably allergic to something in the night air. DH has the door open while he gets the grill ready. Weight is up slightly due toComfort food and using ice cream as throat medicine. Must do better. I picked up the moussaka dinner to cook tonight. It came with homemade pilaf, salad and peanut butter cookies. Looks good.

June, make it a good one!
Ann, sounds like a good plan. I also weigh every day.
Audrey, sure hope you feeling much better soon. That dinner sounds good also. I never thought of treating a sore throat with ice cream. BUT then, I ma not that much of an ice cream fan.
I can enjoy the last day of the wettest and winiest February I ever remember.

Thursday should not be too busy at work. I'm going to eat light during the day. I'm meeting up with some friends after work to catch up and just visit. I need to look at the restuarants menu and decide what I am gong to get. Its an Irish pub and I have never been there before. Looking forward to it.
June, thanks for the start. How are your parents? Hope you had a good visit with them.
Ann, that reminds me I have a turkey in the freezer I need to unthaw and cook. The soup sounds good. I do love a good pot of veggie soup and hummus. What time will it be ready? LOL
Audrey, I get it. Sometimes you do what you need to do to feel better. Its that time of year when allergies get a work out. Take care.
Bee, hope your eye is continuing to get better with each passing moment. I sure hate to complain about the rain when there has been so much drought but it sure has been a wet one. Would be nice to have a sunny stretch.
Have a great Thurs all !

Ann I know you are happy your weight is back in your happy zone.Good for you.I can't say I blame you for just going to your meetings once a month. You have your Wii scale to keep you where you want to be.I'm glad your roof is repaired.Stay warm.Your vegetable soup sounds good.
Audrey I'm sorry you are still coughing so much.I can see why you would eat ice cream to soothe your throat.Sometimes something cold will help and sometimes something hot will help. You will get back on track as soon as you are feeling better.Your dinner sounds great.Let us know how you like it.
Bee I hope your rain dries up soon. The weather seems to be whacky all over.I hope your eye is doing better.
I am already preplanned and tracked for tomorrow and will be OP.I will continue to drink my water and exercise. It will be cooler so it will mainly be inside exercise.I may get a haircut also.

Thanks for starting us June Ann - Glad you are in your happy zone and your roof is done. When it comes to WW you need to do what works for you. Hope your dinner is as good as it looks. It took my boss over a month to lose the cough even after everything else cleared up Bee - Hope you continue to fee no pain. LaDonna - I do the same when I know I am going out at night. Enjoy the time with your friends. Glad your day is already planned and tracked Becky. I find that so helpful. My breakfast and lunch are planned and tracked. Slightly on the fence about dinner. I am heavily leaning towards French onion soup as I have both unsalted beef stock and caramelized onions in the fridge and it would only take a short time to prepare. As usual (except Mondays), I am off to the gym. Today is piyo. Have a great one my friends.

Touching base and heading out for MHMR; DivaTaxi is off-duty today.
I'll attend a WW workshop at 10 AM; the medStuff and medINSURANCE stuff (all of which is STILL not settled) engendered some less-than-wise caloric self-soothing and I will not "make weight" on Saturday. Just a hair over, but I have sworn to myself that I will not pay WW. So I'll check in today and hear Suzanne's spin on the topic, and then attend Saturday morning with Acquilynne (subbing for our new coach, Debbie).
Must get moving... must have more coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... and get started on the day.
🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥☁️🌥

Ann Wow! That is wonderful that you are back in your "happy zone." Mmmmmmm..... vegetable soup. That would hit the spot. I used up the last of my bean soup and vegetable soup freezer stock. Time to make some more or to pull out the frozen chicken in broth to make chicken and something . Soup would be easiest. Audrey Ugh! Those hacking spells are miserable. Hope that you son feel more like yourself. Can also understand using ice cream to soothe a sore throat. Not that hard of a choice-- Robitussin or chocolate ice cream? And, I find that how much impact a day or days depends more on how I answer the question: "What do I do what's next?" Bee j Am also glad to see this whacky February come to an end. Thxfor an update on your eye. Enjoy your time w/ those lil ones. I wish that I could help out w/ mine in NYC and the one one arriving in FL in May. Becky Thx for the inspiration. Ha ha ha I need to channel my "inner Becky" and utilize my recumbent bike more. My DH moved it and the lighting isn't enough for me to comfortably read and bike. Will correct that this weekend and schedule some bike time. Cathy We can be wayyyyyy too hard on ourselves. I know that I can. I have to remind myself that each small step or action represent real progression. So posting here or getting support closer to home is an important baby step. We are all works in progress!

Good morning all. Another wonderful morning of 'sleepin' in' Nothing quite like it We did get snow...as to how much? Not sure. Carl is out there now dealing with it. My soup is on and the turkey breast is defrosted. Nice and easy day for me. Won't bother to go out today. I'll get my exercise inside.
Becky, the meetings I used to enjoy are now gone. People where I now go and leader...lets just say it's NOT a good fit. I'll do the once a month to keep up my lifetime status only. It took me a long time to come to that conclusion but now I am at peace with it.
Bee so happy that your eye is doing well. Audrey sorry about your coughing attack. That was me last night, but with sneezing! Susi I love french onion soup. Enjoy
LaDonna come over any ol' time. We can sit and chat while it cooks Bee whenever you mention the jumble it brings back fond memories of my gramma. She did it each and every day. She said it kept her mind sharp. She was 98 when she passed and had all her 'marbles' so maybe there is something to it Wow Cathy, that IS late to go to bed. Hope you make it much much earlier tonight. MJ good luck at weight watchers. Time for coffee...waving to Pam and anyone else I may have missed. Will try to pop in later. I'll balance my checkbook as I wait for the coffee to finish dripping.

LaDonna Enjoy your lunch. Will be interesting to hear if the pub grub menu offered something "different." We all know that I am a burger fan, so I would likely go in that direction andpass onthe bununless it was special. Snitching a few of my DH's fries is another one of my moves.
My parents are about the same. I see the start of some further decline. However, nothing to do about those things either because it is infrequent or it is just what happens as a body nears 91 years old. So I am trying to enjoy them & this relatively stable time period.
Susi Love your early morning energy & commitment to the gym.
Mj Smart move. By next week you can tweak back that blip and score your free voucher. Self soothing. . . I completely understand that. I have had a real run lately of sugar attacks. Have decided though to schedule some other destressors like my bike ride. Will also use some aroma therapy and journaling.
That is so funny that you mentioned making French Onion soup. OnMonday, I thought about you making some. Yum!
