I'm not on Connect, but I don't understand why not being able to post political stuff would make people leave WW Given what we know about all the dissatisfaction with WWājust by what weāve all posted hereāthe political commentary banning may not have been the sole reason people leftāit may have been the final nail in the coffin for them. I wouldnāt care one way or the other; but Iād also like them to ban posts about personal family tragedies, āwhich dress should I pick,ā etc. as I donāt see them directly related to eating and weight loss either. Ohā¦and besidesā¦itās not about eating, weight, or dieting any more, right? āCuz changing the focus made the financial results swell last quarter! So is their new policy that I can rant about politics as long as I end with "and it made me eat over my points?ā I thought that, too. āThat personās comments about {fill in name or issue} made me SOOOOOOO made that I was forced to eat an entire layer cake. Yahā¦thatās why I did it."

I look at Connect every couple of weeks or so out of curiosity. And I like the before/after pictures. I recently saw that people are leaving because of the political posting policy.
Now I'm seeing people posting on the itrackbites community forum saying they left WW because of this issue, so here they are on itrackbites.
And a side note - there's also lots of people showing up on itrackbites saying they gained weight on freestyle and are now going back to an older plan, as well as many saying they like freestyle but it costs too much on WW so they're saving money by following it on itrackbites.

Politics and religion can be extremely divisive. I would ban both of them if I was moderating Connect. I am a member of another non-weight loss related forum and there are many very opinionated people there (forum is financial related). But, it is tightly moderated to prevent political discussions and it keeps it a wonderful forum.

I'm on connect every day but missed the whole political mess. I just stick with the people I follow and ignore New and Trending. I do too, but a lot of positive people i follow are leaving.

So is their new policy that I can rant about politics as long as I end with "and it made me eat over my points?" Yup, as long as you make the statement that whatever you have posted is related to your weight lost Journey then yes you can post it. People have been having fun making memes over this

Yup, as long as you make the statement that whatever you have posted is related to your weight lost Journey then yes you can post it. People have been having fun making memes over this Here's the new policy; SHARE POLITICS ON ANOTHER PLATFORM.Ā We understand that politics are hotly debated in social media but keep in mind that members are coming to Connect for guidance and support in their wellness journey. Please donāt create posts that advance a political position. If you choose to talk about politics please clearly state how these issues are affecting your wellness journey, otherwise the post or comment may be removed. Other non-weight related posts are always allowed as long as they donāt violate these guidelines.

They should just have one rule that you can only talk about weight loss or weight management on connect and nothing else. Since they clearly only want that anyway.

I just wish theyād eliminate the Connect photos from the front page of the app. I donāt use Connect, donāt want to see those shots on the front page. If I want I can go to the Connect page. Ok...thereās usually only 3 shown, but sometimes those 3 send me running for eye bleach!

I've only gone on connect about 3 times or so but I have not seen any questionable photos. All of them were befores and afters.

Politics? I thought that's what Twitter was for. I recently went Twitter Cold Turkey. It has been refreshing.
