WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C95D4, 18 points, 4 rollovers, 6 water, 1194 calories, K8:30-6
table tennis and once around the mall
Jan – Great prizes. Can’t wait to hear when it’s official.
Lori – I continue to be impressed with how you’re handling these out-of-the-box events. I’m still finding it hard to be successful under similar circumstances. That’s something I really have to work on. Friday morning will be my first attempt at the pita bread. I think I’ll do the scrambled eggs and canadian bacon and an orange…319 calories, 2 pt. We don’t play pool til noon on Fridays, so I’ll have plenty of time to try it.

TGIF! It wasn’t the eating day I had hoped for yesterday, but I did have a small victory. A client gave me a pazcki, and I so desperately wanted to eat it. I took a bite, and gave the rest to Jackson. I’ve had terrible cramps and mood swings this week. That certainly didn’t help my eating.
Lori, what is your frosting recipe again?
Nancy, you’ve gotten right back into the zone with your eating. Hopefully the scale will cooperate.
It will be announced tomorrow, but my team has won for weight loss, and one of my team members has won for individual weight loss. We’ve also probably won for team fitness. Yaaaayyy!

Jan - That's fabulous. You are obviously great at what you do. And it's such a win/win since you get in all that exercise, not to mention the socialization which I'm sure you enjoy as much as I do with the line dancing.
Kathy - OMG - ONE MORE DAY. What determination. Hang tough GF.
Lori - I had the pita today. It only required one scrambled egg and 2 slices Canadian bacon which could have been one. Very filling for some reason, and I enjoyed the crunch. I did over cook the pita a bit - it browns up really fast. I think this will have great potential for me. I sprayed the pita rather than the basket. Is that what you do? Next attempt will be tuna and tomato.

Happy Friday!! This week was a good exercise and food week. Hoping the scale reflects tomorrow....
Nancy, thank you for the kind words...I've been impressing myself..lol I think the fact that WI is this Saturday helped a lot with passing up the cake the other night. Not always easy...This has been my best winter season ever. I am truly enjoying maintenance.
Jan, I had to look up pazcki...lol Good for you for enjoying a bite and passing it on. I have to say that since I’ve pretty much finished with the monthly thing I seem to be more consistent with my eating. I don’t seem to have the cravings that went along with everything else…there is light at the end of the tunnel…lol
Kathy, Wonderful to see your cycle advanced!! WhooHoo!! Stay safe my friend…
Have a great Friday everyone!!

Jan, so sorry - I forgot to answer your question....my frosting is plain greek yogurt mixed with a little SF/FF pudding mix (chocolate fudge, my fav) or with quest protein powder then mix a little light cool whip (this makes it like a mousse, IMO)
Nancy, so glad the pita worked for you!! I have over browned once or twice also...and yes, I usually always spay the food, not the basket - you can also sprinkle some seasoning on the outside of the pita before cooking. I seasoned w/italian seasoning when I filled with chicken sausage, and with trivia when making a dessert pocket...so many, many options... I think its really helping me not miss real bread...which is HUGH!!
