WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

Snow today but not too much. Played pool but no real exercise.
Lori β I may try baking it next time on the rack preheated at 400 in the toaster oven instead of the air fryer. I wonder if it will get crispy enough. Worth a try. Howβd you think to use the tin foil to keep it open? That part works very well.

Good morning. Iβll get through today with the member appreciation at work, then tomorrow I will buckle down and get serious about my eating. I cannot keep eating whatever I want. Really, all my exercise and activity is my saving grace.
Kathy, day 21 for you. Hooray!
Lori, thanks for the frosting recipe. I do the same thing and eat with a spoon like mousse.
Nancy, most days I do enjoy the socialization. Some days, not quite as much. I was feeling very worn down this week and it seemed people were needier than usual. Iβm glad Iβm through the week. Fingers crossed for your WI today.

Good morning, Disappointed our WW meeting is closed due to snow. I would of had a good weigh in. Oh well, Iβll just continue on... Not much snow so I should be able to visit with my Mom for lunch.
Nancy, I play with the dials on the toaster oven all the time - convect bake would probably work well. I think I got that idea from a cooking show. It does work well! This morning Iβm going to made the pita with everything bagel seasoning sprinkled on the outside and fill with my eggs and turkey sausage.
Jan, Saw the pics on FB. Looks like a Great group!! Congrats to All!! I do a lot with the mousse - eat as is, frosting, dip - love that itβs low points, bring to get-togethers.
Nothing special going on this weekend. Just need to watch having too much free time and snacking.
Have a great day!

Up 1.6 which was better than I expected and happily slightly below my Feb WI and still below my personal goal.
Jan - Yeah, the activity is a huge plus for you. My line dancers just love to dance and are happy for a fun way to exercise. They're happy when they catch on and amused when they feel as if they have two left feet. They're not looking to accomplish more than that so it's always a fun atmosphere - now that I said that and after checking out your facebook photos, your team seems to be having a great time.
Lori - Today I used the plain bake mode and it worked great. I filled it with tuna salad and tomato. Delish!! Some other ideas I'll try: BLT, egg salad with bacon or tomato, hot dog with sauerkraut, chopped meat (93%) with cheese and relish, chicken with dijonnaise, sardines with pasta sauce, turkey pastrami with tomato and mayo, pnb & jelly, cream cheese and lox, sliced strawberries and banana with red wine vinagrette dressing - OK you're right, the options are endless.
