Okay folks, it is check in time for the month of February.
This thread is where we focus on the bigger picture, not the weekly ups and downs.
Feel free to share your grand total, monthly total or new habit that is getting you to your ultimate goal.

Down .5 on the 1st and .9 today. Not bad considering the knee, brace, cough and cold.

Finally almost down to my pre-holiday weight, which was not great to begin with. 1/2 pound more and I will be there. Not quite sure what that translates to as far as monthly progress goes but headed in the right direction.
Joined the Y last month and I actually enjoy it. I haven't joined any group activities yet and, knowing me, I probably never will. Maybe an aquacize class some day as they have a beautiful new pool that tempts me. But for now, I am liking the circuit machines. I can only do them every other day, leaving the next day to repair muscle tissue that I am tearing. And to my horror I notice an increase in the scale the day after exercising---not unexpected but certainly a bummer. I suppose that will decrease as I get better at this but when you go from zero to asking your body to do something a fluid gain happens. Oh well.
Not weighing myself on any regular basis helps me keep what little sanity I have. As I've said before, the numbers on the scale have the power to dictate how I feel and staying away from the scale as much as possible remains a good thing for me.
Trying to focus on good healthy meals, sometimes reaching for a WW or LC or other pre-made meal when I don't feel like weighing and measuring.
As always, KOKO.

Fullmahina, As of a few weeks ago I started going to the gym again and reacclimating to heavy lifting. Slowly but surely. My muscles are extremely sore but I like it. The scale of course same as you was up. But I'm in the mindset of that I'd rather the scale be higher and keep doing the weights than not. Bodies get smaller from weight training even if there is little change in the scale. So just knowing I will likely eventually look better than the scale tells me is good enough!

Month-over-month I was up at today’s weigh-in. Not severely, but enough to put me on notice that I need to change my ways.

I continue to maintain under goal. It was 3 years last month. However, I have lost a little wiggle room so need to work on that.

The big picture for February is I ate way too much junk (specifically chocolate) & gained weight. So the first step is that I have to quit buying chocolate to have in my house. I just can't have it in the house so I need to accept that. <sigh> I managed to stop the gain last week but need to get back on track.

I was down 2 pounds in February which is great for me. Last year I gained about 18 pounds at the height of it all. I am currently about where I was one year ago when I had gained 10 pounds. I am happy to finally be on the downward slope...

I was up probably 2-3 lbs in February. I just couldn't get myself on track, but once that scale hit my "get a grip woman" number I KNEW I had to get a grip! I made the commitment on March 1 to get back on track! So far so good! I'm hoping to get back to my pre-holiday weight by the end of the month.

My eating was terrible in February and I'm still struggling. Hopefully March will be better. I did subscribe to Blue Apron's WW Freestyle 2-meals per week plan (four servings total). That has been sort of fun. That would be great if I ate like that all day long, but I haven't.
