WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C95D6. 23 points, 8 water, 1200 calories, K8:15-1
Only collateral exercise - walking in supermarkets
This K-closed business is really working to my advantage, increasing the amount of food I can eat throughout the day, and so far I have no trouble getting from 8:15 til bedtime which is 12 to 1 ish. I don't even think about it. So it's a thorough 12 hour fast. I hope it continues. 8:00 PM is the lowest I intend to go.

Good mornjng! I am planning to really tighten up my eating this week, starting today. Iโll focus on Core foods. Itโs time.
We had such a fun party last night. As expected, my team won three out of four of the group challenges. They also won every weekly team challenge we had. Iโm so proud of them! The weight loss winner lost 22 lbs from Jan 7 to Feb 28. I put a couple of pictures on Facebook. Unfortunately, a couple of my ladies are missing.
Nancy, โthis K closed businessโโ-made me laugh! So you basically banked some weight loss and used it for last weekend. Wonderful!
Lori, how disappointing for your center to be closed. Did you get to have lunch with your mom?
Kathy, the snow pics on Facebook were unbelievable to me. Itโs scary to drive on fresh snow, not knowing where the road is. Glad you made it safely home.

C40. D1!! OP. Tracking. Exercising. I had two days over points last week and one untracked day (that one could have turned into a binge, but didn't). WI Loss .2.
I'm so happy to be on C40!!!
Nancy- glad the Kclosed is working so well for you. You have a stretch of time between your last food and sleeping.
Jan- congrats on your team's wins! And it's great you don't hose challenges. I consider you on our multi year team on this board :-). I imagine the couple that dropped off we're struggling. We've had a harsh winter. But as long as everyone is safe, I'm happy.
Lori- is there a way for someone like me to attend WW meetings a few times per year? Is there a 'pay at the door' option? Per your frosting/mousse recipe, I just discovered fat free cool whip. Dang that is good. My kids are grinding/teasing me because it is simply spun corn syrup and I am vocal and strict with junk food in the house. I bought 3 tubs at a grocery store and my kids were all over me about being a hypocrite :-). I mix of/SF pudding and 3 chocolate chips (lol 0 points) and it is a great sweet treat.
I am on the road 5 days next week :-(. And will drive 600+ miles. Will try hard to plan ahead for the week.
In 4 weeks I'll be on the beach!
Hi to all who folllow.
Kathy
