June happy that Richard stayed home. LOL been a long time since I've retired and some days are better than others with the men folk being around 24/7 LOL. Bee, enjoy your day. Susi nice that you are planned and tracked. I'm also planned. So happy you enjoyed yesterday. Coffee is also tasting extra good this morning. Time for a refill

Good morning, all!
Prayers continue... esp for our ailing posters & Loved Ones... and those under particular stress... and {{{HUGS}}}... and thankYouThankYouTHANKYOU for your prayers for me and my family...
โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
It's beautiful and SUNNY now - it all looks so pretty!
My first round of shoveling went from 6 to 7:10 AM; the second round was from 9:15 to 9:30. The first round was much easier - we're getting a bit of melting and that just makes the snow wet and heavy.
No DivaTaxi - Son#1 is WFH. Delayed opening for MissMouse so I didn't have to be there until 8:30. Schools are closed. We have the Mice here because the water company is working on the fire hydrant on their corner and the water will be shut off all day. I've got their chicken to cook up here, and we are making breadcrumbs since I forgot to bring theirs.
I'm going to do some budget work (got some SocSec letters on Saturday), some reading, and more knitting... ๐งถ๐งฃ๐งถ... and enjoy the sunbeams... ๐โ๏ธ๐
NASCAR Monster Energy Cup yesterday was a good race, with the leaders changing right up until the last 10 or so laps. Toots is looking forward to New Egypt Speedway (dirt track) opening up so we can get to those races this summer.
Coffee's good... โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ... so is ibuprofen...
โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ Have a healthy-eating day, all! โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ

LaDonna I'm glad you were able to walk this weekend.I have been missing mine the last 2 days. That is not Scooter in my avatar.I found that picture online but it looks exactly like Scooter down to the white on her chest.Scooter is heavier now.She weighed 57 lbs at her last checkup.I normally don't let her lay across my legs but last night I was cold and she kept me nice and warm.I'm glad your friend has a pup to keep her company although it's not the same.
Audrey I'm definitely staying in today. It is now up to 32 after a low of 29 with a wind chill of 19.I know that's not cold for the people up north but it is for us.I know Nora will enjoy her surprise party today. You are such a good grandmother.
June We have never had wind chills that low.We Texans are spoiled but I will be talking a different tune when it gets up in the 100's during the summer.I hope you talked R into taking the day off.Sending prayers for him to feel better and for you not to catch whatever he has.
Cathy Good goals as usual.
Ann It might be sodium so drinking your water should help that or it could just be a fluctuation.I was up .6 and I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary.Stay in and stay warm.I'm glad Carl doesn't mind dealing with the snow.Kenneth brewed another pot of coffee for us and it did help warm me up.

Bee I hope all is well today.Aware and willing is always good especially the willing part.
June I'm glad that R is feeling a little better but decided to stay home anyway.Take care of both of you.
Susi We don't always have high winds but February was worse than normal and of course March usually isn't much better. We just aren't used to the cold.Good goals for the week.Stay warm.
Ann I agree. The second pot of coffee was tasting really good but I stuck to one extra cup.I'm working on my water now and it's hard when it's cold.
MJ I'm glad it's beautiful and sunny where you live. You certainly did a lot of shoveling this morning.Stay warm.
I'm not even going outside today.Every time DH opens the front door to let Scooter out to do her business it feels like someone turned on the AC.LOL. I will be doing the recumbent bike soon I guess.
Have a great day all.

Susi Yes, those winds have just been nasty this winter. Sent up prayers this morning for those impacted, especially the tornado victims in the Deep South. You rock! Feels good to know you can work the plan in a way that works for your life.

Ann Ha ha ha. . . Gotcha regarding the 24/7 retirement. When R talks retirement I think that he does not really hear that I intend to work longer. Maybe e can flip roles. Hope the "water cure" does the trick. Nice when that morning coffee or tea tastes exceptionally good!
Mj Whew... that a lot of shoveling in a short time. Yes, you can push then shovel the light stuff easily enough, but that snow which is wet underneath is harder to move. Any chance that you could soak in some Epsom salt? Goodness.... everyone is lucky that you are "aces" in the flexible and problem- solving departments.
Thxfor the cute meme!

Becky Exactly.. you hate for anyone to let that old air into the house. I did not get my r. bike moved yesterday, so I will try to work in a short walk at the mall or grocery stores. Stay warm! Great that you have your indoor exercise routine.

Thanks June.I really wish we had a mall close by but today we wouldn't have ventured out anyway. However it would be wonderful to have one for the summer months when it is too hot to walk here.I hope R is feeling better.

Iโm in and joining Bee in being willing to be willing. Itโs sunny and the snow melting. Dd got all the sidewalks cleared. Meals are planned and will be tracked and as I finish up laundry, Iโll be going up and down stairs adding steps. Tomorrow is WI at my studio which will keep me focused. The sky is blue after a weekend of clouds. Iโm definitely aiming for blue. Keep warm everyone and sending healing vibes to all in need. Have a great day.

Itโs 61 and so pleasant. Meeting was way too long. They let everyone come to โboardโ meetings so 40 women with 40 different opinions ๐ง. Had to get up to walk around a few times. Waiting for food to take to Leo, Nora and babysitter. Whole Foods florist made a gorgeous bouquet for $10.
I think my friend who is bipolar may be experiencing mental and physical abuse. Had a confidential talk with another close friend who agrees. Husband is 6โ4 from Holland. She is tiny and her falls and bruises are happening too frequently. ๐ข๐ข๐ข
June love and prayers to you and Richard to stay well.

Audrey I'm so sorry about your friend with bipolar.I hope she can get some help from a therapist or her doctor if she has one for the abuse issues as well. Her illness is bad enough without any added stress.
I would love to have your weather. It's getting lighter outside but no sun yet.It has gotten up to 36 but still really windy.I know Nora will love her party and she is such a cute princess.

Audrey - I hope your friend can find a way to find help to deal with it. So many times the abused believe they deserve what is happening
