zazzles use chicken livers. Butchers have them. I saw them at Golden Gate at the Ferry Bldg. I’m not sure that my people trusted non Kosher calves but they trusted chickens. Oh, yes. The recipe did use Chicken livers. That, I presume, was what made it so delish.

Chicken livers are readily available in my supermarkets. I occasionally make chicken liver pate but mostly cook them for Charlie.

Wow just wow at all those comments.
I'll be honest, when Rad and I got this new platform up and running we considered adding a Facebook companion page for people to put up photos, quick check-ins etc.. We really mulled it over but you know there is just something about FB that brings the trolls out.
We have heard so much about other groups on FB, where you are sworn to secrecy, have to pledge allegiance to certain programs, blah blah blah. The amount of hate on that thread is really incredible.
I just want to say Rad and I really hope whatever program you choose to do, we hope you feel comfortable here talking about it. We know there is no one size fits all program. If this one is working for you, AWESOME! If an older one is a better fit, WOOHOO! And if you are using something else? YOU CAN DO IT!! This is a judgement free forum.

chook in the comments someone mentioned that the AU program still has the GHG's listed? I know you call it something different there but do you really have the good health guidelines?

DebDoesWW you can create private groups on FB just for your members here. I belong to 5 of them all from people on the old boards. No one can see what we post and it’s super easy to do it because I have set up three of them. Then you could see all of my photos 😊 All 5 of these groups are super positive. We all do different plans and respect each other. One has 5 members and another has over 100.

jamescat1 , I've belonged to a bunch of private groups over the years. Some have stayed civil, others haven't. The point that DebDoesWW was making was that we wanted a place where it would be easier to post photos and for people to find us. (Although this has turned out to be easy for people to find when they are looking for the old message boards.) . FB was not going to be the right platform for that. The group would have needed to be public and would have been a nightmare to moderate. The other issue was that many of the folks here don't have or want a FB account.

In short, no we don’t! We used to have what you guys had in the trackers in the ticking off the boxes for food groups (I don’t think it was ever called GHGs, just ‘recommended servings’ or something like that). Unless something has changed in the past few weeks, that poster is mistaken.

Just spoke to friend who is a current member who said a new 12 week tracker has come out and the tick off boxes for the food groups may have returned ( ) but there is nothing in eTools and it is not mentioned at meetings.

How odd chook ? They have this huge push for online yet they bring back the check boxes for the 12 week trackers only? Thank you for checking it out.

The trackers were usually for 13 weeks but have been reduced to 12. There is a section for meal planning but the actual food tracker part is quite small; just a blank square occupying half the page because they don’t want you to track the zero point foods.
