WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

Good morning. OP day yesterday. Someone gave me a Belgian dark chocolate salted caramel bar on Thursday. I ate a few bites of it yesterday evening and put it away for another time. It feels so good to be able to do that. I made homemade cauliflower tots yesterday. They were so good, but gone in no time. DSalmost18 and DH enjoyed them too.
I took a short nap after my morning class and shower, then kicked it into high gear and got some deep cleaning done. I need to devote some time to that every weekend.
Lori, it makes a big difference working without interruption. Is it going to be nice there today? Itβs mild here but very windy.
Nancy, have the best day!

FYI - I made great 3 point muffins. 3 bananas, Fiber One, Kodiak Pancake mix, three eggs, little bit of honey, berries, baking soda, lowfat milk to the right consistency. Yum!!

Busy weekend, eating going really well - not much in the exercise department.
Jan, yesterday was a beautiful day. Enjoyable day visiting DM. Today, rainy and damp but should improve as the week goes along. Great job enjoying the chocolate in control! Kathy, sorry about the reset but great that your right back on track. Muffins sound yummy...if you have more detailed instructions, would be appreciated. I have all the ingredients in house... Nancy, hope you had a Fabulous day!

Jan - Speaking of dark chocolate, someone at our meeting (workshop) recommended Tribe Dark Chocolate Hummus. 2 T = 2 points and 50 calories. I never had Hummus... EVER. Just the thought of chickpeas scares me but I thought this might be a good way to try it so I bought a container. They suggested it as a dip with strawberries or bananas. Someone else suggested Lays Poppables. I got a bag of those as well but haven't tried them yet. I'm thinking they might work with the hummus as well. 8 pieces = 1 pt and 48 calories. Maybe I'll get brave tomorrow.
Kathy - a few OP days and that .8 will be gone and then some. Kudos for getting right back on the beam.
Lori - Another good eating weekend under your belt - WTG!
