Good morning! Did you remember to move your clocks FORWARD? We started daylight savings this morning. I turned my clocks ahead before I went to bed last night but it looked very dark this morning. It will take me a few days to adjust to these changes.
We had a great brisket dinner with DD and her family last night. DSIL gave us the leftover brisket so I've got dinner planned for tonight too. Nice!
It's foggy this morning but mild. We may get a little rain today but at least the freezing temps are gone for now.
Hope everyone has a restful Sunday!

I'm IN.
Rainy here. We wonder if the St. Patrick's Day parade will take place (the Kressling is marching, if it is).
Coffee's hot and good... ☕️☕️☕️...
🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴🌵🌴

Good morning.
Remembering the DST routines when I was working. The last fifteen years of my working life was in Hawaii---no DST there. Grateful because I was working the night shift for most of it and I can't imagine the mess that shift change would have been there! I remember working the day shift in NY and watching as more than a few co-workers straggled in at 0800 instead of the usual 0700 after the clock change. Totally expected but not appreciated by the off-going shift at all.
A bit of snow last night and now freezing rain is falling but at least it is warming up.
Usual chores on the agenda today.
KOKO.

Good morning.I'm in.
Yesterday I walked in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Then it was hot in the house so I turned the AC on(In March).I know crazy right?Today will only get up to 70 or 71 which I'm more comfortable with.No AC needed today.I know most of you would love 85 degrees in March so I won't complain or brag.I will be complaining in August when it's 100 plus and dry.LOL.
Not much planned today after church.Maybe another walk since the next 2 1/2 days they have predicted rain.
Yes we did set our clocks last night.
Have a good Sunday all and enjoy the extra hour of daylight.

I also turned my non digital clocks ahead last night. It's dark and rainy and I didn't want to get up this morning but the ferals are fed and spin is in the books. A nap is in my very near future.

that brisket sounds SO good! It was a great brisket. DSIL is a wonderful cook and likes to try many different foods. It's fun seeing what he comes up. He's getting ready for his yearly crawfish boil....can't wait!

Greetings from Sin City Bad morning to lose and hour of sleep. Woke up at 5:15 DST to leave for the airport at 6 a.m. great light and nice group of people. There is a reception tonight ( sparkling water and lime for me) but I made reservations for Bob and me at Momofuku at 8:30. I ate there for lunch in NYC 3 years ago.

DebDoesWW, When they started dating, DD told him she'd do appetizers and desserts and he could do entrees and sides. It has worked well for them for 15 years! HA! Wish I could have gotten my DH to agree to that but alas, he doesn't cook much at all. jamescat1, enjoy your trip. Report back on the dinner tonight. I looked at their website and the food choices look great.

Sunny but chilly today. I set the alarm to get up early, but dh is not feeling well so we didn’t go to church. Last night’s dinner was delicious. I had grilled shrimp kabobs. Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon. I’m in. Better late than never, but I didn’t oversleep. I had a baking class this morning: Eclairs. The results were just so-so. The chef didn’t allow for chilling the pastry cream filling. I think he should have had the class make the pastry cream first so it had time to refrigerate while making and baking the shells.
Bad morning to lose and hour of sleep. Better to lose the hour of sleep than money in the machines or at the tables.
That’s it. KOKO

Fortunately all my clocks are on devices so no actual clock setting had to happen. And I never reset my wrist watches because I don't actually use them to tell time so I figured I won't bother.
I'm so ready for some warm weather. Our level of cold isn't major relatively speaking but it is too annoyingly cold for me.
