This reminds me of losing weight the last two times...so many doubters and those trying to derail me. I did have days that were not perfect and learned from those days. Any goal worth working toward/reaching is definitely worth the work.
BOB & KAREN: Your comments on yesterday's quote about motivation and discipline hit home for me, too. My motivation that came with a click and intent and all the rest (at least twice or thrice or more before) has also flown the coop. My thought is to set up a few routine meals and a treat daily (fixed points/calories) and not give up. One day at a time...one change at a time...
BOB: Hooray for having taxes done. I read online that if you make five dollars you have to file SO I need to find the information and do the online thingy and also file the FATCA thing since I live overseas.
KAREN: I did get out and do two laps yesterday...not much BUT more than the day before

Good for you Cathy! Even small measures add up when they lead you down the right path. Up & out early today and feeling more inspired. If we can work hard doing other jobs and tasks why can't we do it with regard to ourselves and our own process? We are so worth it! I commit to taking a walk today, without the dogs, since I am not allowed to walk them until I don't know when. I see the surgeon on March 20th and I have lots of questions. Moving forward & doing well. I had a much better day Wednesday than Tuesday and today will be even better for sure! We can do this.

Good grief Cathy FATCA? Looked it up. sheesh.
I take a slightly different view from Phelps. I think we shouldn't put limits on ourselves up front. Doesn't mean that there are literally no limits but we don't start with a negative attitude. Oh my gosh Cathy you need to round up those good things that have flown your coop. I agree that sometimes baby steps and just starting with a routine helps a lot. when I got out of the hospital with a fractured pubis (quite lateral side of ascending ramis closer to hip bone)I just walked around the house. Actually in hospital convinced them I could walk to the bathroom. Slowly I I got to where I could walk a few feet to the suburban house next door and then 1/2 way around the block. Not sure how it got up to 4.5 miles w a buddy. All my buddies are sick, injured, or with other health issues right now. I did do a shorter 3.5 mi walk yesterday. I know I do better with buddies but it is all good.
Karen I really hope it works out with your surgeon Mar 20th. Sending good vibes your way!!
