diva49, you often say you go to MHMR? What is that? Do you volunteer at the office of Mental Health Mental Retardation? That's what that abbreviation used to stand for here in PA. It's now MH/IDD. Mental Health Intellectual Disability Just curious

DD's childhood nickname was "Miss Mouse" from her first Nutcracker dance role.

diva49, thanks for the explanation of MHMR. I also thought it meant Mental Health. Cute nickname for DD. Pi-Day. When I worked at the high school, March 14 was a big day for the math department. Thanks for the reminder. We had a little rain last night and I'm hoping that will wash out the pollen that is everywhere. I'm going to a new yoga class this morning at the Y. No dinner plans yet but I'm hoping to get inspired this morning. Have a great day all!

Good morning all. It's going up to 61 here today. I can't wait to get out and walk the property to see what's what. I can see some things breaking through the mulch from the windows but, I won't really know for sure until I get close-up. Rubber boots are a must with all the mud. On the fur-baby front, my two male cats (neutered) are going through a rough-housing stage and their antics can be a PIA. My GF told me to use a spray bottle of water to break them up or interrupt their mindset. So far, cats 3 - Pam 0. I'm either soaking something that shouldn't get wet or I'm without the sprayer just when I need it. I'm in and tracked. diva49 , you're amazing how you manage that routine. I'm sure your DD is beyond grateful for all that you do. Have a great day !

Good morning! diva49 , I thought MHMR was some sort of new combo vaccination. Thanks for the explanation, lol. My very early crocuses are in bloom. They're very small---I got a big bag of them from Costco a few years ago. Not particularly happy with the variety but it's nice to see them smiling in the sun! Next fall I will order the later giant ones so I get a lot of later color. The daffodils shoots are coming up too---I have hundreds of them. It will be a while before they bloom but yep, Spring is coming! Going up to 50 today, sunny. In the 60's tomorrow but rainy. I'll take it. Thinking of calling a fencing company to make a play yard for the dogs. My older girl is perfect off-leash but I am realizing that it will be a loooong time before the little one can safely be on the property without a leash and I would love to give them a little dog park where they can romp together. DH was initially against it (didn't want to break up the open area with fencing) but I shall get my way, lol. It will be nice to play with them and let them burn off energy. Usual chores, laundry, etc, etc, etc on the agenda. Have a good day, all---KOKO.

Morning all! Thank you for the kick off MJ. ๐โ๏ธโ๏ธ doordie50 I have water bottles in every room, some have 2. ๐คฃ I do think the cats may get together and set some of them from spray to stream occasionally though. ๐ fullmahina have you thought of getting a wireless fence until you get her trained? You can grab them anywhere now and it really does work well. That way DH is happy and puppy is safe. pamthomas46 hope you guys are safe with that weather that hit you! Have a great day everyone! Happy Pi day!!! ๐๐๐

fullmahina I have purple crocuses outside our bedroom sliding glass door I love to see them bloom each year. zazzles my mother had chronic insomnia She used to take Seconal, a street drug that has been banned. Her modern crack was Halcyon which made her delusional. Best thing that ever happened was emergency surgery for colon blockage, a new doctor who took her off everything and she slept again after being on sleep drugs for most of her life. Her chronic insomnia began when she gave birth to a daughter before I was born who was severely hurt by a doctor who used forceps. That child was very mentally disabled and sent to a home. That was the procedure in those days. My grandson's elementary school lost my volunteer application I filled out a week ago so I am going downtown to fill out another one. It is not close to home Then I have a manicure and pedicure. We returned home at 6:30 last night and I unpacked everything. Today and tomorrow will be big laundry days. Going back on the wagon beginning todayas far as eating and drinking.

zazzles, I'm sorry you've been having insomnia. Medications sure can affect sleep sometimes. I take a medication that would knock most people out for 14 hours, but I've grown so used to it that it usually just helps me sleep a normal 7 hours. But last night I confess I drank a little too much wine. I drank 2.5 glasses, which to some may not seem too too much, but along with my evening med it was not a good combination. I try to keep my drinking down to 1/2 drink or max 1 drink per day. By about 9:45 pm last night I was so severely tired that I felt like I was about to die and never wake up again. Honestly! I did fall asleep quickly after strongly fighting it, but then I woke up at about 3 am. Ten minutes later I heard what sounded like three gun shots in a parking lot behind our house, shielding by very high hedges. We live in a safe area, but that spooked me. I woke hubby up because of it. He said to forget about it. One guess that came to mind was that perhaps...never mind, kind of triggering. Anyway, I couldn't fall asleep again until 6 am, then I struggled to get up by 7 am. Our dishwasher went kaput. It sucks because it was full of dirty smelly dishes, and there are also a huge lot of dirty dishes in the sink and on the counter. The thought of hand washing all of them is intimidating. I called a couple appliance repair companies, and am yet to hear back from the one that can service my area. Our clothes washer also needs repairing. I certainly hope we don't end up having to replace both. We've had so many expenses lately, and we'll need to pay taxes soon, too.

have you thought of getting a wireless fence until you get her trained? You can grab them anywhere now and it really does work well. That way DH is happy and puppy is safe. Sounds good until you realize that it might keep the puppy IN but it doesn't keep coyotes OUT unless you can collar the coyote!
