⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Agree with this one...will head outside to do a couple (or more) laps when the grains finish cooking (doing wheat and oats)
BOB: wow...walking with a broken pubis would NOT be fun! I have a feeling that I will be able to get the laps back up again in number but will need to take it slowly. FATCA is a pain in the patoot. They want the highest amount in the bank during the previous year and I am thankful hubby has me on the bank accounts but sometimes wish (at this time of year) I wasn't!
KAREN: Write down your questions so you don't forget any when you see the doctor. Here's to both of us taking at least short walks today

I made progress yesterday. I walked as I said I would and increased my steps tremendously. It felt really good. I made good meal choices too and felt good about it. Onward. Forward. Progress. Oh, and yes, I started a list.

Best wishes for both of ya for sure. My initial crush fracture was really undiagnosed until I went to see a sports medicine guy who also did work with our local professional men's and women's soccer teams in Portland. I did back off and do some PT for awhile before increasing my walking. Technically my injury was considered "non-weight bearing" but was closer to my hip than my centerline. My usual approach with getting back on my feet is to ask my Dr what I CAN do. Sometimes they need encouragement that way.
Oh I totally agree with this quote. Sometimes slow is all we can do and we don't want to ruin our progress anyway. I didn't really intend to become a walker per se on a daily basis but it kinda morphed into that. Did a shorter walk today with a buddy who is recovering from a cold. All good.
