Good morning. I actually thought it was Saturday.
Went out to dinner with a friend last night & must say the crispy hand cut fries were worth every calorie! I don't go,out to dinner often so when I do I have what I want.
Looks like we might have another sunny day. Have to run some errands & I have a weekend of absolutely nothing going on & im ok with that. Seems like everyone I know is on their way to Florida for some much needed warm weather. Travel is difficult for me but maybe next year ๐.
Have a great day everyone.

Some things are just worth it Sulli. It's Friday and I plan to sleep in (at least until 6 a.m.) tomorrow!
Side note to Sulli - I'm heading up to Saugerties tomorrow and on Sunday we are going to a winery if Marlboro. I'll be waving at you.

TGIF! I for one am sooooo ready for the week to be over! I was a reception last night for my former boss (she is now a department in in the college of Education)and we were chatting with one of my faculty members (who is the former department head of my department, and they both hired me for my current job) and the former boss looks at me and says, "you know, my admin assistant is going to be retiring soon, are you interested?" The look on the other faculty members face was priceless as I said, "I think I could easily be swayed!" I would love to work for her again, not that I don't like my current job, but she is an amazing person! LOL So, we shall see. The only bad thing would be giving up my awesome office and view! As for food at the reception, I did good! I stayed with veggies (fresh and roasted) a little bit of cheese and crackers and a few bbq meatballs. OH and one chocolate covered strawberry! Anyway, it's going to be in the 60s today and for the next week! I am so happy to have flip flops on! I hope you all have a GREAT day and GREAT weekend!

Good morning all.Yes,Sulli some foods are totally worth every calorie or point.I'm glad you enjoyed it.
neen,If you want the new job I hope you get it.WTG on food choices at the reception.Enjoy your flip flop weather.
It got up to 68 yesterday, the high today is expected to be 76 and tomorrow 87.I can totally handle that kind of weather. My knee was stiff yesterday morning so I didn't go to Curves.Instead we ran some errands in Bastrop.I did get in a 45 min walk yesterday afternoon and it was too beautiful to stay inside. My plans for today are Curves(I need to go in anyway for my monthly WI there)and maybe another walk this afternoon while it's so pretty.
I hope everyone has a great TGIF and enjoy your weekend.

It's cold here in NE Florida this am, about 40 degrees but will climb to 70 and stay on the 70's through the weekend. Weighing in today, shopping, walking with my best friend and on my own for dinner!

Good morning, gorgeous sunny day on tap. I've already had a repairman here (!!!) for warranty on my indoor bike, so I am up and at em. I hope to finish the tax files today, which would be love to know it was done before we hit the road Sunday. I'm going to take ๐ถ to daycare and have a stretch class in a bit. neen Good luck with the job if you decide you want it and outstanding at the reception...I always give myself and extra pat when I handle a social situation well. I can't say that West Texas would be the top of my travel list, but I'm looking forward to a trip. Have a good one!

Good Friday All. Ahhh...how I love Fridays.
I don't eat out often either Sulli but had dinner with two friends that I haven't seen in a while last evening. My Olive Garden choice was good and satisfying and I had pre-tracked. I could not eat Italian without pasta. Their whole wheat linguini (I always eat whole grain anyway) and grilled chicken with their marinara sauce were all doable SP-wise. Added salad without dressing. Yum!
I gathered my tax items during my "quietly trying not to itch time" last week Kathy. Always nice to gather that stuff. It isn't hard but there is something about it that creates avoidance for many.
Tomorrow is the last day of the prednisone and I am hopeful that the mysterious issue does not return. I have a friend who is hospitalized overnight on antibiotics. I don't know the details but she has some sort of inflammation. I am curious because I have seen her several times lately. I will check in with her after her husband gets her home today and see what the word is. I also have another friend who lives out of state who had a rash issue too. Keeps me wondering...Still happy to explore things with the allergist as I am also curious about some past food issues.
Going to my favorite shopping spot, Costco, this morning. I don't know what it is about Costco that I like so much. I usually hate shopping but I do love poking around there.
Good Friday to all.

Good morning all. I eat out rarely so I always order what I want too. I don't think restaurant meals (maybe because they're infrequent) have ever been a problem for me. It's more the mindless eating at home that gets me in trouble. Yesterday was the first day in a while I got my 10,000 steps and I was happy about it. Between being sick and the weather, I hadn't been getting my steps in. neen, that's great about the potential job and it's a real compliment to you that she wants to work with you again! Hope everyone has a good day. TGIF!

Good evening, everyone.
Hope the day went well.
My new cooktop got installed this afternoon. Spaghetti pot boiled in 7-1/2 minutes!
Sadly, the over-range microwave/convection/halogen oven was damaged when the installer opened the box. He could have installed it without mentioning it because it was a back corner that would have been hidden from view, but he was honest enough to call it to my attention and recommend that it be sent back to the company I bought it from for an undamaged replacement. The replacement will be installed, hopefully, next Tuesday.
It has been raining pretty solidly all day. And it isnโt going to stop any time soon. Pretty sick of it.
It is amazing that 7 years of drought can be negated in less than one full rainy season.

zazzles, Mike my aunt and cousin who are here visiting are from SoCal and we have all been watching the rains that have been hammering CA "the worst storm since 1995" so glad the drought has been wiped out but GEEZ, it must be crazy there, I hope you hunker down! Sorry about your damaged unit, you have been waiting so long already, but that was really nice of the guy. Glad at least the cooktop is in.
