🍀Happy St. Patrick's Day☘️
⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Plowing a field or coming up with a way forward may require some forethought...one doesn't usually jump in and do without thinking it through... SO...in regard to health and fitness and such...a bit of though before action makes sense to me.
My brother always thought he would be tall as dad and grew and grew but missed it by at least four or five inches. I think a lot of people think they should be thin like a parent or sibling or expect to be heavy due to genetics but in the end...we create our own selves and need to remember that...size, outlook, whatever.
BOB: LOVED reading all that you have done in life. I have also dabbled in other things over the years and had to chuckle when you said "scientific bent" as I thought perhaps I am "a bit bent" in more ways than one.
KAREN: I hope you had fun thinking about mastery...self or of activities, talents or hobbies...
Mastery ... after comments yesterday decided to look up Master then went on from that to Self Mastery and skimmed through this article on the subject that gave me a few new insights...on a number of things...not short but it hit on some things I have known/read before and tweaked a few brain cells to use as I move forward: scottjeffrey.com/self-mastery/

Yes, we sometimes tend to overthink and try on ideas, but it doesn't compare with action. Together though it's powerful. I like to be sure about where I'm headed and often overanalyze, sometimes to the point that I think I've already done it. I saw a quote yesterday, at least I think it's a quote, and it said:
"Start by doing 1 push up. Start by drinking 1 cup of water. Start by paying toward 1 debt. Start by reading 1 page. Start by making 1 sale. Start by deleting 1 old contact. Start by walking 1 lap. Start by attending 1 event. Start by writing 1 paragraph. Start today. Repeat tomorrow."
I don't know who to give credit to but saw it and it hit home.
