Great goals, June. It is definitely spring cleaning time. I have a 9 a.m. appointment with my orthopedic doctor to x ray my knee and see if it is fully healed. Lily Belle coughed a lot Sunday and if it continues this morning I will call the vet.I volunteer in Leoβs classroom from 1230 till 2 PM so Iβm not sure what I will get done in between the other things. I finished my part of the taxes Sunday finally and it made a list of the china and re-boxed it so I could carry the boxes into the clubhouse Wednesday. Dinner will be leftover corned beef and cabbage with a lot of vegetables tonight especially for me. Happy Monday It will be 80 today but we are supposed to have 66 and rain Thursday.

Becky enjoy your errands. I'll be hydrating right along with you.
Audrey good luck to you and LB. Enjoy your volunteering.
June R is a keeper. Hope all goes well with DD and you enjoy your visit.
We had a great meal. I shall continue to drink water to flush out the sodium. I did end up getting a walk in. The wind died down later in the day.
Tomorrow we'll go to donate blood and replenish produce.
Sweet dreams all.

Yesterday was lovely in many ways:
* I talked to granddaughters, son and daughter * I kept the kitchen clean (hubby even commented) * I used the French Press coffee maker instead of the electric (the carafe is broken and needs to be replaced) and may like it better and it takes up less counter space * I was OP all day and lost weight on the scale this morning * I enjoyed a hot shower and slept peacefully in clean sheets waking refreshed this morning
* I also woke to wonderful messages from online friends claiming good things in their lives that I was able to read and benefit from, too.
What I can do today * Write each food down before I eat it (already changed 1/2 an avocado for 2 asparagus spears this morning) * Get in SOME exercise today * Keep the kitchen clean * Buy some groceries for the humans and the cats for variety at meals * Hydrate * Stay tuned-in and positive as I make my way back down the scale...first stop one-derland

Extra prayers for all our posters & Loved Ones with medStuff going on this week...
Son#1 just texted that he is WFH today. His right knee "blew up" on Friday afternoon - he says he felt a tiny tweak in it around 11:30 AM but by 3:30 it was a balloon heading to melon-size. All the stairs for the trains (NJ Transit and PATH) are not a fine thing (and of course, "Mom" wonders if he will seek medical attention or just continue to wait it out). His knees have been bad for years.

It's 25* and will get to the upper 40s today with quiet winds. "Mostly sunny" but clouding up around suppertime. Another day closer to Spring... πΏπ·πΏ
We had a very quiet Sunday. NASCAR was good, pork roast was good, and I cooked up the tiny corned beef I'd gotten with coupon to have with salad for supper (I'll be chugging water for a couple of days, LOL). The Kressling went home around 7 PM.
Today will be "normal"-ish (emphasis on "-ish"). DivaTaxi. MHMR. LA-Fitness. Bake chicken. Pick up Mice. Pick up Kressling. Take Kressling to soccer (outdoors <oy>) 6-8 PM. I also need to fill out the paperwork for tomorrow's MRI with/without contrast that's scheduled for 10:30 AM. I think I want to fit in a nap...
I'm enjoying my coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ...

Audrey Hope that you othopeadic doctor gives you good news. Did LB awake w/ a cough today? Bet you are glad to get both your tax papers and fine china ready. Can't wait to hear how your first day at Leo's school was!
Becky Hope that your day goes smoothly as you run errands in town. You have a strong handle on the routine choices to stay healthy and OP.
Ann Hope you find some great fruit & vegetables that is reasonably priced on your excursion. Ha ha ha ... Am thinking that today should be national day of hydration after all the corn beef consumed.
Cathy Wonderful! Love that you had an especially lovely day in all ways. Yes, it does feel good to "get" that traction in your mindset, choices, and environment that moves you forward. Celebrating your steps that contributed! Yay you!

Good plan June. Hope you get your dad's mask checked out. Glad that R helped out yesterday. I hope you knee is healed Audrey and that Lily Belle will be okay. Have fun at Leo's school! Becky - Enjoy your errands! Glad you had a great meal Ann. Much more bearable when it is worth it. Cathy what a great list of gratitude. It added a smile to my day! Good goals for today. MJ - I hope he calls the doctor instead of waiting it out. Glad you had a nice quiet day yesterday. Hope all your paperwork goes smoothly. Hope you work well with the new trainer. I refused to check the scale yesterday or today. I am with the water brigade. I am planned and tracked. Trying to not overbuy fresh produce as I have a long day in NYC on Saturday and leave Monday after dinner for a hotel near the airport. I picked up produce yesterday at Acme's buck a bag sale and some cuties and lettuces at Aldi's. That should hold me.

The oyster roast was loads of fun, the music and visiting with friends. I was so exhausted yesterday I could hardly move. DH felt the same. Not taking on any entertaining for a while. Back op today and I want to string lots of OP days together. I did get a short walk in both Saturday and Sunday.
June, i hope you got some good rest over your spring break and classes will go smoothly this week. Hopefully you can get someone to check on your dad's device and service it for him.
Audrey, do yall have a lot of pollen? wonder if that is why LB is coughing? Its covering everything here.
Becky, sounds like a KOKO day.
Ann, yay to a good nights sleep! I am still feeling very tired this morning. not sure what is going on with me.
Cathy, awesome goals.
MJ, normalish sounds so good to me.
Susi, I am also not weighing until Friday and hopefully the weekend damage will be a thing of the past...enjoy NYC!

Normal-ish is down the drain-ish.
Mouseketeer is not feeling well (all stuffed up). He did a saline nebulizer treatment (helped) and headed to school. Hopefully he'll last the day.
My trainer cancelled and wants to reschedule (how many days do I allow for "stomach virus" germs?). So frustrating.

Susi That sounds sensible approaches everything-- the weekend indulgences, scale check, water, and produce buying. Balance is the key to maintenance. can feel the excitement of your Vegas trip building!
LaDonna That must have been some party! Hope that you recover some of your energy over the next few days. Great that you could get in a few walks over the weekend.
My break was just that, a break. Am glad I did my midterm reports for the Early College students first thing and then just put my school work away. Not grading papers alone was a very nice respite. Not dealing w/ the issues involving a handful of early college students was also nice. I chipped away at some niggling tasks & read quite a bit over break. Enjoyed some visits w/ my parents. Today I am giving the house a good cleaning. W/ the weather & a DH who loves to trek around the muddy back property, I decided to wait until my last day of vacation. Thx for thinking of me!
Mj That's a good question. It's hard to decide how much risk I am are to others after the worst period has passed. Perhaps the gym even has a policy about not exposing clients. Regardless, it has to be frustrating for you not to have a consistent training session.
Hope your DGS feels better as the day wears on. Are you on standby for a call to take him home if he feels poorly?
