Susi that's awesome deal on the produce Prices are high here but oh well. I get what I can and leave the rest LaDonna glad you had fun at the oyster roast. I hear you with stringing OP days together. Today I am back at it...in full swing! And like the song says 'nobody gonna break my stride" LOL. MJ it's one of the frustrating/necessities. Hope you can reschedule soon. June nice that you got to enjoy your break. I don't know how you do it with school and taking care of your parents. You are a real trooper in my books. Well, walk #1 is one and done. Just going to have lunch before we head on over to donate blood. Then our trip to Wallyworld and Hannafords.

Ann Love your winning attitude! Yay for accomplishing your first 'hood walk Already!
Thank for the compliment. After calling the sisters meetings last summer, things improved. Our oldest sister is pulling her weight a little better. It is not perfect. But the changes allowed me to feel less overwhelmed and angry at our oldest sister. W/o those emotions whirling around so much, I am in a better position to truly enjoy having my parents alive. Much easier now to face this part of my life w/ genuine and deep gratitude. I better accept what I can and can not do-- most days. My school workload was less this semester. I relinquished a class in December after dad lost his balance & had trouble walking. I had no idea how much rehabhe would need. So there is a huge difference from grading 50 papers a week instead of 80! Plus I reduced the total number of papers from 17 to 16! And I decided that this semester I was not saddling myself w/ any grading over break. I give myself a an A for those decisions.

Taking time for family movie today. Weβll have brunch when weβre out. It will all be tracked and liquids will be an important part of the day. Iβm definitely willing to be mindful and keeping blue in sight.

Hope your DGS feels better as the day wears on. Are you on standby for a call to take him home if he feels poorly? He's HEEEERE. His temp went up to 100* so we picked him up right after we picked up MousekeTWO. They've had lunch and each is camped out with an iPad - MousekeTWO on the couch and the Mouseketeer on our bed with a box of tissues. MissMouse will WFH tomorrow; he must be a whole day fever-free before he can go back to school. I've got the chicken in the oven and must reach out to Son#1 to see how the Kressling's getting to me, for soccer practice.

Pam Hope that you enjoy the movie and brunch. Great that you are looking at how to "make it work" within your plan.
Mj Had a feeling that the poor little guy would be at your house. I just pray that he does not get whatever R had. Took about 3 1/2 days before he felt human. Hope that you will not be too tired by the end of the evening. Even w/ your son WFH & no training session, your day still had a lot of moving pieces to juggle.

June also give yourself a HUGE hug and an even HUGER pat on the back for not saddling yourself with 'stuff'. I applaud you for forcing the issue of the sister to pulling her own weight. Every little bit helps. It sounds like you are at peace with a lot of issues that had the better of you. Brava Pam liquids are part of my day as well. Unfortunately I didn't get to have the healthy turkey that we had planned. Giving blood took much longer than we anticipated. We won't get an appointment over the phone or online as it's too much of a pain in the 'you know where' to deal with. We simply show up and for some odd reason there was a lot of people giving and not enough help. Oh well...we were asked to come back at 3:30 and still had to wait. MJ poor baby. I hope his temp drops real soon. I'm sure all appreciate your stepping up to the plate. ((((Bee))) I am so sorry to hear your news. Will most definitely keep you in my prayers. I am already 'jammified' and not going to do a blessed thing. We stopped at McDonald's tonight for supper. Not a healthy choice by a long shot...but it was the closest place to where we gave blood, so I'll DEAL WITH IT tomorrow. Drinking water to help compensate and also to help with the blood donation. Sleep well, all!

MJ I know that's frustrating for your trainer to cancel.
Ann Prices for produce are high here also.I'm glad you got a walk in today. We went to WM today too. What is Hannafords?
June I'm glad your oldest sister is helping with your parents more than before. There is only so much you can do each day.I can't blame you for not being able to grade 80 papers.I think 50 is more than enough.
Pam Enjoy your family time.
MJ I'm sorry your DGS had to leave school.Hopefully he will feel better soon.
Bee Sending prayers for you and your eye.I hope your appointment at MD Anderson goes well.It is a good hospital.
Ann I'm sorry you had to wait so long to give blood.I don't blame you for stopping for dinner on the way home.
I have done 20 minutes on the recumbent bike and walked on our country road.I may do another 20 min on the bike after dinner.
Have a good night all.

MJ, my trainer has had to cancel a lot but the reasons are always important. Hope Mouseketwo is better.
I had a blast volunteering in Leo's class. There was only one other Caucasian child because the third one was sick. They all wanted to talk to me. I helped with math groups and four groups circulated from me to the teacher to the aide. So glad I am doing this.
I am off to deliver a meal to a club member who lost her husband suddenly a few weeks ago, a massive stroke like Luke Perry but he was 70.

Becky Hannafords is a local supermarket. They have the freshest produce around for which I'm most grateful. If for any reason you are not happy with what you buy, they double your money.
Audrey sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying your volunteering and I know they are happy to have you a part of them.
Going to turn in early tonight. Tomorrow I have my consult with the dentist. Have to be there at 10 a.m. Luckily he is right here in town.

Bee j Am sending you a big, warm hug and continued heartfelt prayers. So hope that an earlier diagnosis lessens what is involved with the treatment.
Mj Am channeling positive prayers and energy your way as you undergo your MRI tomorrow.
Ann Thx! It took some doing to get "here," but the view is much better, for sure. Geez. . . That stinks that donating blood was a trial. A McDonal's meal now and then won't hurt. And turkey will be a terrific followup dinner! We sometimes get a burger & fries when we get back to civilization after a week fishing in a reserve. It's one of the only two FF places at the large town where we get gas, ice, and Earl Grey tea.
Becky Yep, class resumes for me tomorrow. Will be looking at the arguments for and against granting American women voting rights. You are soooooo right 50 papers is a lot . Multiplied by 16. But I've been able to pace myself this semester with a small amount.
Audrey Will add your friend to my prayers. So nice of you to take a meal and visit her. LOVE that you had a super fun day w/ the lil ones π
Sleep well tonight all!
